I couldn't understand a word you said, but I loved the presentation! :P Great idea on field expedient / emergency shelter setup. I can't remember a time during my training in the US Army when they let us get out of the rain though. That's not to talk poorly on your military training. I think, if the troops are a line of defense for your nation, the troop's health and well-being should come first when it makes the most sense. Not at expense of the mission, but if the mission can wait a moment, take care of your troops. Thanks for the insights!
I couldn't agree more , what good is a demoralised wet cold trooper. Thank for watching it's very much appreciated. Thank you Josh. Take care my friend .
great info. the knots in the ridge line is a great idea for speed and if hands are cold & wet., i've tried tying para cord in rain and ended up doing a granny knot as i just couldn't work with it.. i look forward to more videos the 2 compartment day sack looks interesting.
We'll that's a bit of a coincidence lol. Over the weekend I've been thinking of a similar set up to the pole at one end. I'm considering using my gortex bivi underneath especially in cold wet weather. Good presentation atb Taff 🤠👊
love it... i have been struggling with a tarp for a bit . i will give your set up a go. i think i got a tarp that was too big for my needs.😕. thank for the tips we can all learn. and help each other along the way....😄😄. thanks again.
I've attatches a small carsniner to each length of daisychain, which enabled me to attatch to any tie out points. ie ploughpoint, A frame lean too, and varients etc.
great idea using daisy chain or jungle knots for quick deploy. I was wondering if there is an actual inside and outside, of a basha, to use or doesn't it matter.
Yes it works buddy and 2ml paracord will do. On the basha have the stretcher handles on the outside. I hope this helps and thanks so much for watching buddy. P.s I used cloth tape on the steaks..
Thank you. It's an original German smock. I don't know where your from but here in Britain their easy to obtain through military surplus and eBay I thing I only paid 25.00 British sterling. Where are you from ?
I'd like to ask a question. Google has been unhelpful. What size volume of stuff sack might fit an MTP issue basha? I'd like a sack that can fit basha, cordage, and a small bit of extra tie-outs. Thanks in advance.
