Great double reaction. I'm sure you have been told, but Legend 1997 was the concert title - it was December 21st 2013, the day after Su-metal's 16th birthday, she is the Legend of 1997, it was the year she was born. They did a concert 6 months earlier called Legend 1999 to celebrate Yui's and Moa's 14th birthdays. If you want entirely electronic BABYMETAL perhaps you should watch the opening ceremony for Legend 1997 ... look for BABYMETAL 'Ave Maria' (it may be listed as 'Ava Marie') as that has the 'Night of 15 Headbanger Re-mix' ... and follow that up with the closing ceremony 'BABYMETAL Death' live at legend 1997 to see what happened to the statue at the back of the stage. 'Headbanger' is about a girl going to her first concert on her 15th birthday, but lamenting the fact her childhood has passed by so quickly and life will never be the same, so she is etching this special night into her heart. When Yui and Moa held up their pigtails the lyric was talking about "...legendary long black hair...". 'Road of Resistance' is a very positive song, it isn't the usual "resist the machine or the system etc" that we might expect from the title. It is about forging your own road even where a road doesn't already exist, not necessarily going the easy way or following the path already made by somebody else, so if the way you want to go has never been trodden you may have to get past the resistance of the undergrowth, obstacles, hurdles and things blocking your way etc to find your own way. It could easily be used to describe BABYMETAL's own story - they could have followed the well trodden path of J-Pop and been very successful, but they chose to go with Metal ... but again they didn't just follow the same old format of every other metal band, they have done it their own way and it hasn't always been an easy route to follow. Moametal is the girl with the biggest smile, it was Yuimetal with the chubby cheeks who sadly left the band in 2018. That performance was in January 2018, Su was 17, Yui and Moa were both 15 and that was over 20,000 people completely under their control.
You're the first reactor in a loooong time that mentioned how much thought goes into a Babymetal choreography, specifically with their pulling up their pigtails. It is quite refreshing that a metal musician now appreciates dance choreography because of Babymetal.
Babymetal choreography is always either a direct expression of the words in the lyrics or an interpretation of them - like when they hold up their pigtails or hang their arms like puppets, which are to express the lines about a schoolgirls' pigtails being undone to let their hair hang free for the concert they are going to, as the song describes, and the fans at the front hanging over the barriers, exhausted after the gig. Legend 97 is a reference to the year when Su was born, though this gig took place on her 16th birthday, in 2013. The finale to this show is about as Metal as it gets and their use of symbols in it is outstanding - Babymetal DEATH. 🦊🤘🤘🦊
Electronic: From Dusk Till Dawn, Metalism, Uki Uki Midnight, Headbanger Night of 15 remix Progressive: Tales of the Destinies, Mirror Mirror, Syncopation Power: Arkadia, Ijime Dame Zettai, Akatsuki
Just add on to how crazy BABYMETAL music can be, the drummer, during one their concerts, had to be carried off stage because of the crazy instrumentals they play. Huge respect to these guys for their dedication to the live shows as much as the girls.
After one of their Tokyo Dome performances in 2016. But that's still just a rumor, of course there wouldn't be any official information about something like that. But to be fair, the Black Night Ending with Megitsune, Headbanger and IDZ and a very long victory round where the instruments played freestyle all back to back must have been so exhausting for everyone.
1997 was the year Su -Metal was born. The show was called Legend 1997 to celebrate Su turning 16. The show was recorded on 21 december 2013 and Su turned 16 just 1 day before on 20 december.
Great reaction. These young women, and the Kami’s are so talented. I liked Su-Metal’s voice as a child, but she has matured so far beyond that level it’s unimaginable. Even though she is only 25 years old today (not the video), she has been performing professionally for nearly 20 of those years. Combine that with the most varied discography and perhaps cleanest vocals of anyone; well that’s how you get a Queen.
Very fun reaction! In reference to the Headbanger performance, it was the first part of a trilogy of songs at that concert that some of us refer to as the Trilogy of Death. It's the final three songs of that concert that loosely tells a story of battle (Headbanger), loss (Akatsuki Unfinished version), and death (Babymetal Death). In the early days of Babymetal there was a lot of lore related to the battle of metal vs idol music. Basically Headbanger represents the fight against the pop idols (even though the song itself is about a 15 yo girl going to her first metal concert). Akatsuki (Unfinished ver.) represents the losing battle and is an absolutely beautifully performed ballad by Su (and has brought tears to the eyes of even the most hardened metalhead). The finale is Babymetal Death where...I'm not going to ruin it because you just have to see it to believe it, and I guarantee you will not believe what you what goes on. Just make sure you get the complete performance from the Legend 1997 show.
Headbanger is a song that tells story of 15 years old girl became a headbanger after her first metal concert. And the creepy atmosphere in the intro, if you linked that to the creepy feeling in MEGITSUNE, you would know the girl would have hell of a journey with metal music. That's why Headbanger is not necessarily to be as banger enough for you.😁 To me, the following 4 songs are the 4 chapters to tell how an ordinary girl became a fox goddess. 1) Megitsune 2) Headbanger 3) Akatsuki 4) Babymetal Death Song 2 to 4 is also known as trilogy of Babymetal Death. Road of Resistance is the trio carrying the missions from fox god, open the gate of a castle, the audiences made the way, then the trio riding horses to where so ever.😌😁
I can't remember it too well but I think in an interview with Hermin Li, I think it was at one of the download festivals, he actually said that they wrote the guitar parts for RoR faster than both the guitarists could play it themselves as they thought they'd never have to play that song live with them.
@@NekomiKiyomiVT by the way, if you listen to the studio version, the guitar parts are different.it will be better.neither the parties themselves. should have been longer but then shortened. dragonforce is dragonforce )))
14:35 The smiling one on the right of the screen you're talking about is Moa. She's not the one who left the group. It's actually well known among fans that Moa can't help herself from smiling basically all the time! Now you've noticed it you'll probably not be able to stop seeing it in future videos haha.
Great double reaction / analysis, thanks! "Even their hairstyles are thought to be a part of the freaking choreography" You have no idea! Their hairstyles, even now, are a big deal. For your peace of mind, Moa (the one on the right) is still with BABYMETAL. And I can tell she's a force of nature on stage. 😁 Su-metal putting the crowd's chants back in tempo right before the drums come in, is one of my favorite parts of this performance. Chronological orders sounds good to me. But you can also intercalate some of their newer stuff just to better notice the huge step on their evolution if you want. Until next time!
14:50 That (screen right) is Moa Kikuchi aka MOAMETAL. She always looks like a bundle of joy on stage. She did not miss a single gig since they started in 2010. The one who quit (Yui Mizuno aka YUIMETAL) is on the other side (screen left). Yui and Moa are easy to tell apart: Moa has dimples. 22:27 You are doing the wrong hand sign. No horns. BABYMETAL does the fox sign.
Yep, you're right, you're into the Foxhole now 🦊🤘🔥 Glad to see you're back with this great set. Another nice reaction, and just like you saw the party on BM live concerts is wild, especially with this song becoming super fun into something like a cult.👀 Today they ended the Sabaton's Europe Tour, everyone were having a blast with them coming back to the stage in this live tour and more is coming such the Babyklok Tour in the US along with Dethklok and another return to UK and Europe for a headline tour. Headbangeeeeerrrrr!!!!! is one of BM fans favorite and got special meaning too. Song is about a 15 years old girl celebrating her birthday going to her first live concert, probably metal, while having melancholy for leaving her childhood behind. Isn't about any of our girls but they embraced this song like it was made for them, you'll find many special versions of this, even when they celebrate their 20th Birthday. 15 is an important coming of age for Japanese girls, 20 is another important date. This was at Legend 1997 (that's the title of this live concert referring to SuMetal birthyear and yeah is the same concert you saw them performing Gimme Chocolate!!) in 2013 celebrating SuMetal 16th Birthday, and the whole concert was special, if you want to know the rest of the songs finishing this, those are: - "Akatsuki" Unfinished Version, a beautiful SuMetal solo version with only a piano behind, the original song is a power/speed metal balad - "Babymetal Death", be ready for this insane ending, The live concert and also this song got plenty of tributes to the greatest metal bands, like Metallica and X-Japan, specially Yoshiki, the gong at the end is one of those, you'll find more and plenty of this to add to their lore. The official MV is also creepy for some fans, I guess the organ gave that effect, you'll also see the neckbrace there for the first time which is a tribute to Yoshiki from X-Japan. Another thing that you don't see so much here in their live performance is, when YuiMetal and MoaMetal are having fun with cryo or smoke gun, the choreography on this part is with them down on their knees and doing the "dogeza hedoban" which is like bowing down back and forth summoning the metal spirit represented by the neckbrace while SuMetal is standing with the mic rise up and her relentless death stare, that's another moment we called -NotACult- The Kami Band here are insane set of elite musicians who were send to help with the metal sound, "kami" means roughly "god", they're wearing burial white robes and corpse face paint to represent those spiritual entities. They rotate so probably you won't see some of them in all live concerts (especially the guitarrists). They are: - Míkio Fujioka, god of guitar, a beloved member, sadly he passed away in 2018. (R.I.P.) - Leda Cygnus, god of guitar, he's the only Kami Band member who's credited as a session musician when recording some albums tracks. - BOH, god of bass, he's the bald one and not only got amazing talent but her fun way to enjoy reminds me Flea from RHCP. You can see at the end (when SuMetal is crawling upstairs) his head got written "Happy Birthday". - Hideki Aoyama,, god of drums, he comes from a family of expert drummers, and his father is very famous in Japan music scene. I would love if you can go with the rest of the songs of this special live concert but if you want another song that ranks high as a favorite you can watch: - _"Ijime Dame Zettai"_ live at Sonisphere Festival 2014 and you can witness a turning point in their career and a different type of live performance unlike this one with big top notch production. Kitsune up and see you next time!🦊🤘🔥
12:18 _Now Pizza Time! (Pizza Time!)_ 🦊🤘🍕 No doubt this is one of the greatest hits when performing live and that's why they finish the concerts with this song, just like recently at Sabaton's Europe Tour each one of the night performing. "Road Of Resistance" is a power/speed metal song, is one of their most epic anthem and the album version got the guitar arrangements made by Sam Totman and Herman Li from DragonForce, and is all about facing your own path without looking back. The wall of death is insane just like you noticed, is also called "mosh'sh pit", different from usual mosh pit because this one is safe to participate if you fall everyone will stop until you get up and get ready to keep going with the fun ride. This was part of the Trilogy Of 2015 series of concerts, live at New Year Fox Festival - Saitama Super Arena, is the last song of the encore they performed and finishing the show. By this time their fame was already high due to viral success on YT of Gimme Chocolate! MV, people from all over the world attended this live concert in Japan, and 20K souls witnessed this epic moment. With only 15 and 17 years old this moment will be forever remember when they performing this song to reminds them all the support they got from their fans no matter where they go, either a small or big stages. BM fans love some members of the Kami band but none of them are official members of this group not even permanent, they only play live, so when you heard album tracks remember they aren't playing there. In this case they are: - Takayoshi Ohmura, god of guitar, he's Míkio' Fujioka's pupil (another beloved Kami Band guitarist who sadly past away) and a prodigy child, you'll see his recognizable pink guitar or golden in other moments. - Leda Cygnus, guitar. - BOH, bass. - Hideki Aoyama,.drums. At the end of their shows they always said "We are BabyMetal!" with the crowd, to making them sure that they're part of this show and project too, is a line borrowed to X-Japan saying it at live concerts too. If you like this type of metal genre then you're gonna love another previous song from first album called *"Ijime Dame Zettai"* live at Sonisphere Festival 2014 and witness a precious and epic moment on their career. You can find that clip in the official channel but just be careful coz sometimes is getting blocked issues. Thanks for sharing this double feature. See you next time and don't forget to put your kitsune up! Hasta la próxima!🦊🤘🔥
'Road of Resistance' was the 15th and finale song after a 1.5 hr concert in front of 20,000. Yes, Herman Li and Sam Totman both colloborated on this song. They played the guitars for the studio recording. 5:46 That is guitarist Mikio Fujioka who was only 1.58 m tall. So his hands were not large or has long fingers. He was nick named 'Ko-Gami' (The Little God). Sadly he died in a tragic accident in Jan. 2018. He was only 36.
@@autohmae Nope. That is Mikio with his unmistakable nose. That guitar he is playing is his ESP Utratone-SL7. Leda was the other guitarist playing on Hideki Aoyama's left. Mikio has always been on BOH's right side. This is the Legend 1997 Apocalypse concert in Dec 21, 2013. th-cam.com/video/YjjWZpf_jSs/w-d-xo.htmlm23s
@@BagoPorkRinds how do you know they were there ? I assume Babymetal has had 'understudies' for Kami band for shows, like Tokyo Dome. And if they were there, now I wonder if that was the start of Kari band.
Some months ago Herman showed the guitar, on which he has played his parts for the studio version of "Road of Resistance", during one of his live streams. It's an absolutely beautiful piece of kit! Regarding their guitar players: Two of them, Mikio Fujioka (RIP) and Takayoshi Ohmura, work(ed) as instructors at the ESP Academy. As far as I know, Fujioka also was Ohmura's former guitar teacher.
Really cool to see that you already fell into the foxhole. Be careful, the foxhole is deep, it's kinda like a labyrinth and even has hidden doors, that will reveal parts of the lore around Babymetal little by little 😜 If you don't understand something, just keep asking. From the experience I've made so far, I can tell you that the Babymetal fanbase basically are very kind and helpful people who love to help you out, if you've got any questions about Babymetal. 🤘🏻🦊🤘🏻 #staymetal #staybabymetal #notacult
Great reaction! Herman Li and Sam Tottman played the guitars on the studio version. They don't have writing credits, but it's easy to hear what inspired the writers, hence why they invited them to record the guitars. 🤘🏻🦊🤘🏻
They have done so many metal genre until now. I want to recommend you some for each genre Speed Metal: - Akatsuki - Headbanger - Ijime Dame Zettai - Road Of Resistance Progressive Metal - Tales Of The Destinies - Rondo Of Nightmare - Mirror Mirror Hardcore - Catch Me If You Can Trash Metal - Give Me Chocolate Metalcore - Karate Black/Death Metal - Sis Anger Nu Metal - BxMxC Industrial/Synth/Hymmnos/etc - Monochrome - Divine Attack - Metal Kingdom - Megitsune Dance/Electro/Dubstep/etc - PaPaYa - Metalizm - Headbanger Night Of 15 Mix If you like their choreo, try Papaya, high energy there. Or Catch me if you can, theyre so adorable there If you like some more epic, try Metal Kingdom, official live shot. Nice reaction!
I want Wagakki Band (和楽器バンド) to react. It's a rock band that uses traditional Japanese instruments, and I'm sure you'll like it. Please take a look at the live video.
I like them too :) that was my first japan rock band, I believe youtube showed me Babymetal just because of Wagakki band...but from that moment I am addicted to Babymetal...now for 2 years.... and I am still totally addicted 😼
Legend 1997 is in tribute to Su's birth year. This video was shot the day after her 16th Birthday. When she climbs the stairs at the end of the song, you can see Happy Birthday on the bassist's head. Moa and Yui are 14 in this video. I don't have a favorite BM song, but this if my favorite video version of this song, followed by Moa Banger when Moa turned 20. the song is about a girl going to a concert on the eve of her 15th birthday (frequent use of the word s Ichi go) In japan 15 is like a coming of age. The person is now considered an adult and in the song, the singer is basically saying goodbye o their childhood. For Road of Resistance, the guitar arrangements were in fact written bu Herman Li and Sam Totman of Dragonforce. The song is about forging your own path, not necessarily the easiest path. I believe this video came out in 2015 meanuing Su was 17 at the time and Moa and Yui 15/16
If you want metal with some interesting electronic experimentation, then I would recommend BxMxC as well as Kingslayer (the latter being a Bring Me the Horizon song featuring Babymetal). Both songs experiment with some very cool effects.
I think Herman is quite proud of his collaboration on this song, he still has the guitar he used on the studio recording and someone offered him 20k for it but he wouldn't sell it
in my opinion Babymetal - Amore (Fox Festival 2017 Live) one of the best. Incredible instrumental and vocals. One of my favorite video. I recommend it to everyone 😄 I would put this on a par with Road Of Resistance.
Amore is probably my favorite Babymetal song (and it is hard to have a favorite!)....but my version would be the 2016 Wembley one. Love that one, but a win either way!
@@TheTeufelpanzerVI actually I didn't really like Amore. Until I heard the Fox Festival version. All other versions sound much more poppy. (For my taste) I like Fox Festival first of all for the sound. And I like to see musicians. And I love such stages, without screens and tinsel.
So, to answer some of your questions: Legend 1997 refers to the year SU was born, and that show was held in 2013, for her 16th birthday! For Road of Resistance the guitar parts were still written by Babymetal, Herman Li and Sam Totman did the guitar arrangments and they played the guitars on the studio recording! THey also played this song live together at least once, at an award show. Herman Li spoked about how he had to modify several times their parts before Koba ( BM's producer) was sarisfied xD Herman Li praised the Kami Band how they interpreted the song and how they played it live! If you would like more songs with elecronic vibes, there are plenty :D From the first album: - "Iine" official MV - "uki Uki Midnight" live at Budokan 2014 From the second album: - "From Dusk TIll Dawn" live at Budokan 2021 There are plenty from the fourth album, but i would leave that for later :D
I just saw your BabyMetal reaction videos and you nailed it. Those are the songs I considered many should react to. I'll Suscribirme jajaja Buen trabajo!!! Greetings desde Bucaramanga!
This live concert was SU-METAL's 16th birthday celebration and also the concert where the ritual of renouncing man and being reborn as a metal goddess took place☺️ Please take a look at this live performance of the song BABYMETAL DEATH! From Japan🦊
I have only recently found Babymetal myselfe and to be frank I've become obsessed. They are absolutely immaculate with every aspect and detail of their performance. The only other band I can think of that puts this much thought into their performance is Rammstein. And I like them a lot but I don't leave their music smiling like a madman!
Road of Resistance, Live in Japan is mind blowing the first time you see it. Then you learn that this was just the 3rd time they had performed this song live and the first 2 shows had a total attendance of only 8,000. That pushes their professionalism, showmanship, and crowd control to a whole other level.
You could stand a hundred feet tall and never come close to having the stage presence of these three barely five foot tall Japanese school girls. They are an absolute force of nature when they are on stage and it's incredible.
The ``ban ban ba ban'' choreography for this dance comes from the opening dance of an old Japanese comedy group TV show. Also The ending song of the TV show has the lyrics ``ba ban ba ban ban ban''.I think baby metal is quite playful to us Japanese people.
You mentioned Marty Friedman, when Marty goes on tour who do you think he takes on tour to play with him live ? Yes, one of the Kami band members. Just look up the video: Marty Friedman Vs Takayoshi Ohmura - Live Guitar Duel In Madrid. It's a good example of them playing together. Marty Friedman, who now lives in Japan for maybe 20 years already ? He was the first 'western' metal musician or maybe even any metal musician (I would have to check the timelines) who encouraged and helped promote Babymetal.
Moa-metal is the one to the right of Su who looks very happy and she is still in the group and still obviously loving every second. she’s actually a rockstar. there’s a live version of headbanger where she got to do lead vocals for her 20th birthday, u should check it out, it’s the same song but worth it just to see her have her moment. i also think u would personally enjoy their songs BxMxC and METALIZM if u want to see them experimenting with electronic songs. thanks so much for the reactions ! ❤
Hmm.. if you haven’t done so yet, Rondo of Nightmare with Mischief of God intro. You’ll see what the Kami Band can really do. Then after that, you’re ready for Babymetal Death. Those two should be next; after that, then try a dose of Black Babymetal. Song 4 (4 no Uta), Onedari Daisuken, GJ!, and Sis Anger, in that order. For the record, Sis Anger is the band’s heaviest song. Once you get through those, then you’re ready to find the holy grail of Babymetal: Tales of the Destinies, live from Tokyo Dome. As for finding other bands, I would put LoveBites on the top of your list. But get through Babymetal first. Let The One guide you down the Fox Hole.. then the Wolfpack will guide you from there!
Why Su has that death glare: “ I stand here holding this mic 🎤 up like an idiot while THOSE two have fun with those fog thingys…” No wonder she would be pissed 😂😂😂
Catch Me If You Can is my favorite. It is the maximum combination of cute and heavy ever in the history of mankind. But you would probably love Arkadia. It wasn't written by Dragonforce but it sounds like it was.
For a stripped down look at Suzuka's vocals, do The F1rst Take's Monochrome (Piano version). For a look at the matured Babymetal and an outlier song; 2021's From Dusk Til Dawn. I just discovered that tune and I am floored by it.
So to answer your question, in my honest opinion, you should probably continue doing the songs in a somewhat chronological order. My logic/reasoning is very simple. There aren't as many videos made yet of Babymetal doing the actual shows with the new songs, so getting live shows is a little harder right now for the new stuff unless it's the offical music video version in which case they tend to plaster the studio version of the song overtop of a performance. Most of us agree it's better when you can hear Su live. She just sounds better live than recorded in studio where they "tweek" her voice. I wanted to touch on a couple of things you mentioned. First, the part where you paused the video and were amazed that Su did all that choreo and then started singing again. I think you're the first reactor to notice that. I've always been kind of amazed that she seems to be able to do that so effortlessly and precisely. Nobody has noticed that before until you mentioned it. So it kind of caught me off guard when you mentioned that! Second. So the part of the video when the girls were walking down the cat walk and you paused the video and mentioned that Moa was having the time of her life and you hoped she wasn't the one who left. Well you were correct. She stayed with the Band. It was Yui, the second one you pointed out after that had to leave for medical reasons. That being said, Moa is very extroverted, but Yui is very much an Introvert. She is actually pretty shy and I'd almost say bashful. So for her to even BE in the band, attests to her courage and strength of character to face her fears and challenge herself. So while maybe it's better that she was the one who left the band, it's also saddening as I was always so proud of Yui for trying to step out of her comfort zone and do what she normally would probably try to avoid almost, even though she WAS part of Sakura Gakuin, it is quite obvious she is introverted by her demeanor. That being said, as you saw later one, Yui was also having a lot of fun. This was also the last song of the night for them, so they were all exhausted, and even though they were enjoying the crowd and performing for the crowd, I'd be willing to bet money that a) Moa was also thinking about food and wanting to eat b) Yui probably felt like eating a Tomato and c) Su wanted to take a nap lol That was a great reaction. Lastly you said you wanted more experimental stuff from Babymetal. You seem to like to do double features, which we all like too I think. So I'll give you probably their 2 most experimental songs, although they do have a lot, these 2 are in my opinion the most experimental. First one is a different version of the headbanger song you reacted to today. So search on YT for Babymetal Ava Maria. It should be an almost 10 minute long song. Second song is Babymetal - Tales of the Destinies (Tokyo Dome Live 2016) Eng Sub. Second song has heavy Dream Theatre influence in it. Great song Hope that helps you out a bit, lastly, in case you want to be able to tell the difference between the 2 dancers, Yui, the one who left, is the girl with the chubby cheeks, and tends to looks a little younger (my opinion anyhow), Moa is the one with the huge dimples in her cheeks when she smiles. Thats the easiest way to tell them apart if you have trouble.
If you like the experimental stuff from the first album. I'm pretty sure you will like their latest album. It's so good to see them having so much fun even though RoR started off so serious. It boggles my mind that Suzuka Nakamoto impressed Koba so much that he decided that she had the ability to front a metal group at the age of 12. This is such a great performance by all 3 girls. The calls and response, the harmonies, crowd interaction, the ad-libs toward the end proving they were singing live. This was an amazing performance.

Babymetal's road of resistance was my most favorite because im affiliated to the osu community, that's the first time i got introduced to metal rock, in this case "ror" was sounding like it was made by dragonforce lmao
When considering Babymetal’s entire discography and the length of their shows, Su-Metal’s stamina is seriously impressive. Her angelic voice combined with the choreography sets her apart from the vast majority of vocalists. Honestly from an athletic standpoint Moametal is unequivocally Olympic caliber. Su-Metal isn’t as physically active. However, Su is one exceptionally talented (Goddess), vocalist. I don’t know a single vocalist on the planet (granted there might be) that dances that hard and always hits every note. Good comment. If anyone says otherwise, they simply don’t the group.
@@hachikuji_mayoi Granted! I flew to Japan for a recent show and after three years off, she did miss a note, or two on her first performance to be honest. All I can compare to is other professional vocalist from many genres. I love many of them and don’t have anything near their talent. Still I listen too and love many that don’t come close to this women IMO. That’s just my opinion and others may disagree. No disrespect, or confrontation intended.
"Headbanger" Legend 1997 Apocalypse concert is a epic show celebrating Babymetal Su-Metal (Suzuka Nakamoto) 16th Birthday 🎉 or Seitansai @ the Makuhari Messe. (ヘドバンギャー!!, Hedobangyā!!) is a single by the Japanese heavy metal band Babymetal. Released in Japan on July 4, 2012 in promotion for the album Sakura Gakuin 2012 Nendo: My Generation, the single serves as the third single from the debut album Babymetal. It is also the band's first solo audio release to be released commercially. •Single: Babymetal. •Album: Babymetal and Sakura Gakuin 2012. •Nendo: My Generation. •Language: Japanese. •Released: July 4, 2012. •Genre: Power Metal, Heavy Metal. •Length: 14:44. •Label: Juonbu. •Songwriter: Edometal, Nakametal, Narasaki. •Producer: Kobametal. •Narametal: (arrangement). Babymetal singles chronology:- "Babymetal / Kiba of Akiba": (2012) "Headbangeeeeerrrrr!!!!!": (2012) "Ijime, Dame, Zettai": (2013) Background and release:- Unlike previous tracks released by the band, which had her vocal recorded in segments within the songs, Nakamoto had her lines recorded in a single take several times. She had been told to sing and find a story within the music. By the time she had comprehended the story behind the lyrics, she grew capable of singing the entire song naturally. When Mizuno and Kikuchi listened to her shouting "Headbangeeeeerrrrr!!!!!" for the first time, they felt as if they had seen another cool side of her, surprised by the vocal power. Additionally, the single introduced the members to the whispering style of singing, with the A-side's "Kiero!" (Disappear!) and the B-side's "Uki Uki Midnight". Kobametal was inspired to Ko use it to contrast traditional death growls. "Headbangeeeeerrrrr!!!!!" was announced as a single on April 27, 2012, with a release date set for July 7, 2012. The single was released in two versions: a standard edition, available via CD and digital formats, and a physical limited Hedo-ban ("Head edition"), which contains a CD and a "neck corset" (actually a cervical collar) for headbanging training.[5] Both editions of the single feature the songs "Headbangeeeeerrrrr!!!!!" and "Uki Uki ★ Midnight" (ウ・キ・ウ・キ★ミッドナイト, "Exhilarating Midnight"), along with instrumental versions (labeled as "Air Vocal ver."). The standard version contains an enhanced CD with a bonus music video of "Babymetal Death", which can only be played on a computer. The artwork of the standard edition depicts a lyric in the song, specifically when the girl is headbanging with the corset, with the crimson-colored moon in the background, as well as the band name appearing at the top. The limited edition artwork depicts a temple scripture of the "Corset of Legend" with the song title spelled out in the middle. Before the physical international release of the song, its title was written ambiguously as either "Head Bangya!!" or "Headbangeeeeerrrrr!!!!!", the latter of which is officially used in the international re-release of Babymetal and all future releases. The music video uploaded to the band's TH-cam channel initially had the former name, though it was switched to the latter in 2015; the version uploaded by Toy's Factory consistently retained the official title. Tekina Remix:- During the live performances Legend "D" Su-metal Seitansai at Akasaka Blitz on December 20, 2012, and Legend "1997" Su-metal Seitansai at Makuhari Messe on December 21, 2012, a remix titled "Night of 15 mix." was performed, containing more elements of electronic music. The former took place on Suzuka Nakamoto's actual fifteenth birthday, while the latter was the opening song for the concert. Remixed by DJ'Tekina//Something, the song was later released as part of Social Reform promotional editions of the single "Ijime, Dame, Zettai", and later appeared on DJ'Tekina//Something's remix album Kawa-EDM (2016), re-subtitled as "Tekina Remix". KamiBand:- The KamiBand are the instrumentalists (or backing band) in BABYMETAL - Each member is a "god (Kami) of music" summoned by The Fox God stage by stage. All the Kamis are male except for the Babymetal girls. The Kami Band wear corpse face paint and white robes depicting Japanese 🇯🇵 spirit. The Kami Band have their own jobs and side-projects in addition to BABYMETAL. Babymetal original Trio:- •Suzuka Nakamoto: Su-Metal (2010 - present). •Moa Kikuchi: Moametal (2010 - present). •Yui Mizuno: Yuimetal (2010 - Left Babymetal in 2018 due to undisclosed health issue). Current & Past Members Of Kami Band Who Perform At The "MAKUHARI MESSE":- •Leda Cygnus (Guitar, ESP BLACK CUSTOM). •Mikio Fujioka (Guitar, ESP BLACK & GREY CUSTOM) R.I.P January 2018. •Daisuke 'BOH' Bohte (Bass, ATELIER Z BETA 6, Boh'S CUSTOM 6). •Aoyama Hideki (Drums, YAMAHA Signature).
1997 is the year that lead singer Suzuka Nakamoto was born. The concert was in December 2013.and was honoring her birthday. Yui Mizuno is the one who left in 2018 because of health reasons.
if you want to start at the beginning the "Doki Doki Morning", recorded when Su was 12 and Moa and Yui were 11. Then their second single was "iine"👍. The MVs for both. But be prepared for over the top cuteness🤘🦊🤘
Road of Resistance sounds "Dragonforce-ish" because Herman Li and Sam Totman wrote the guitar parts in collaboration, and also performed them on the studio recording. And twice performed the song live as backing band for the ladies.
I will say my favorite songs are Distortion... really heavy... and Yava... ska-like guitars (I was in a ska band in the late 90s, so it puts a smile on my face when I hear that type of guitar).
Really enjoying your reactions! I think all their songs are good, most of them great and some are amazing. I made a quick list of tiers and separated the songs per album so you can choose as you go forward. I excluded the ones you've already reacted to. Since it's BABYMETAL, these tiers are not just based on the song, but rather the whole performance. *Amazing* 1. BABYMETAL: Akatsuki (Budokan Black Night 2014), Ijime Dame Zettai (Sonisphere 2014), Babymetal Death (Legend 1997) 2. Metal Resistance: No Rain No Rainbow (Legend S - copyright), YAVA! (with Kami intro), Tales Of The Destinies (Tokyo Dome 2016), Syncopation 3. Metal Galaxy: BxMxC (live compilation), Shine (Legend S - copyright), IN THE NAME OF (Legend S - copyright) *Great* 1. BABYMETAL: Catch Me If You Can (with Kami intro), Doki Doki Morning (official video or Budokan 2021 or both for fun!), Onedari Daisakusen, IINE, Uki Uki Midnight 2. Metal Resistance: Awadama Fever (with Kami intro), Amore, GJ!, Sis. Anger, The One (dedicated to the fans), From Dusk Till Dawn 3. Metal Galaxy: Distortion (Download Festival 2018), Kagerou (with Kami intro), Starlight, Arkadia, DA DA DANCE, Brand New Day, Night Night Burn!, ↑↓←→BBAB, Elevator Girl (Japanese version), Shanti Shanti Shanti, PA PA YA!! *Good* (These songs are fun. I really like the last two and they also happen to be some of Su-metal's favorites to perform) 1. BABYMETAL: Song 4 2. Metal Resistance: Meta Taro 3. Metal Galaxy: Oh! MAJINAI I think it is very subjective which songs are great and which are amazing after the first album. I don't think I missed any songs, but this is just a quick list. There are so many great performances and interesting details that had to be left out because I don't have time to write it all down. I left out the latest album because we don't have many live videos yet, but it's safe to say most (all?) of the songs are great. I put "- copyright" to indicate which I know must have a filter on top.
Loving the Nubie reactions! It’s always fun to watch someone on the journey 🤟🏻 I would highly recommend the following; From Dusk til Dawn - live Budocan 2020 Tails of the Destinies - only been performed live once (Tokyo Dome 2016) and I was there!! An amazing Prog Metal opera. Enjoy! 🤟🏻🤟🏻
If you want to see them experimenting, BOY do I have something for you. Their entire album „Metal Galaxy“ is about mixing genres and experimenting. From Celtic/Irish influences, Bollywood, collabing with a Thai rapper to SU RAPPING you got so much variety! Would love to see you react to the songs or even the whole album. And another favourite of mine on top: „Metalizm“ from their newest album
21:54 the girl from the left which you are mentioned "she is having the time of her lif3..." Is YUI ❤ (who retired from the band) the cutest the prettiest the most energetic and the smallest out of three, she is the icon of babymetal not was but forever.
Su-metal was born in 1997. The legend was born in 1997. The concert and Babymetal tell a story always.
That performance was in January 2018, Su was 17, Yui and Moa were both 15 and that was over 20,000 people completely under their control.
find you again Grington-Metal 🔥
You're the first reactor in a loooong time that mentioned how much thought goes into a Babymetal choreography, specifically with their pulling up their pigtails. It is quite refreshing that a metal musician now appreciates dance choreography because of Babymetal.
Yes. There are other skills besides playing an instrument.
"Su is a heavy metal general, she's commanding everything here" : Jhulian R.
Electronic: From Dusk Till Dawn, Metalism, Uki Uki Midnight, Headbanger Night of 15 remix
Progressive: Tales of the Destinies, Mirror Mirror, Syncopation
Power: Arkadia, Ijime Dame Zettai, Akatsuki
What a hero!
Happiest : 4 no uta
Silliest yet happy and simply one of their best song : Awadama Fever ❤
@@Jhulian_R you need to see From Dusk Til Dawn and Metalizm next man (although Metalizm doesn't have live audio yet)
Angriest in the most cute way: Sis Anger 😂😂😂
@@10Shun yes ,yes yes 🤣🤣
Just add on to how crazy BABYMETAL music can be, the drummer, during one their concerts, had to be carried off stage because of the crazy instrumentals they play. Huge respect to these guys for their dedication to the live shows as much as the girls.
Is that for real? Asian Kami band or west Kami band?
After one of their Tokyo Dome performances in 2016. But that's still just a rumor, of course there wouldn't be any official information about something like that. But to be fair, the Black Night Ending with Megitsune, Headbanger and IDZ and a very long victory round where the instruments played freestyle all back to back must have been so exhausting for everyone.
If that's true, it's not surprising. I am often surprised he can walk after some of their songs...
Loved your reaction! This has to be one of the best live performances ever!
That's why Headbanger is not necessarily to be as banger enough for you.😁
To me, the following 4 songs are the 4 chapters to tell how an ordinary girl became a fox goddess.
1) Megitsune
2) Headbanger
3) Akatsuki
4) Babymetal Death
Song 2 to 4 is also known as trilogy of Babymetal Death.
Road of Resistance is the trio carrying the missions from fox god, open the gate of a castle, the audiences made the way, then the trio riding horses to where so ever.😌😁
Dragonforce?yes, you are right guitar parts played herman li and sam totman, herman li still keeps the guitar with which the song was recorded.
The Angel of love👊🏽⚡️🤘🏾🦊
Great double reaction / analysis, thanks!
"Even their hairstyles are thought to be a part of the freaking choreography" You have no idea! Their hairstyles, even now, are a big deal.
For your peace of mind, Moa (the one on the right) is still with BABYMETAL. And I can tell she's a force of nature on stage. 😁
Su-metal putting the crowd's chants back in tempo right before the drums come in, is one of my favorite parts of this performance.
Chronological orders sounds good to me. But you can also intercalate some of their newer stuff just to better notice the huge step on their evolution if you want.
Until next time!
14:50
That (screen right) is Moa Kikuchi aka MOAMETAL. She always looks like a bundle of joy on stage. She did not miss a single gig since they started in 2010.
The one who quit (Yui Mizuno aka YUIMETAL) is on the other side (screen left).
Yui and Moa are easy to tell apart: Moa has dimples.
22:27
You are doing the wrong hand sign. No horns. BABYMETAL does the fox sign.
Yep, you're right, you're into the Foxhole now 🦊🤘🔥
Glad to see you're back with this great set.
Another nice reaction, and just like you saw the party on BM live concerts is wild, especially with this song becoming super fun into something like a cult.👀
Today they ended the Sabaton's Europe Tour, everyone were having a blast with them coming back to the stage in this live tour and more is coming such the Babyklok Tour in the US along with Dethklok and another return to UK and Europe for a headline tour.
This was at Legend 1997 (that's the title of this live concert referring to SuMetal birthyear and yeah is the same concert you saw them performing Gimme Chocolate!!) in 2013 celebrating SuMetal 16th Birthday, and the whole concert was special, if you want to know the rest of the songs finishing this, those are:
- "Akatsuki" Unfinished Version, a beautiful SuMetal solo version with only a piano behind, the original song is a power/speed metal balad
- "Babymetal Death", be ready for this insane ending,
The live concert and also this song got plenty of tributes to the greatest metal bands, like Metallica and X-Japan, specially Yoshiki, the gong at the end is one of those, you'll find more and plenty of this to add to their lore.
The official MV is also creepy for some fans, I guess the organ gave that effect, you'll also see the neckbrace there for the first time which is a tribute to Yoshiki from X-Japan.
Another thing that you don't see so much here in their live performance is, when YuiMetal and MoaMetal are having fun with cryo or smoke gun, the choreography on this part is with them down on their knees and doing the "dogeza hedoban" which is like bowing down back and forth summoning the metal spirit represented by the neckbrace while SuMetal is standing with the mic rise up and her relentless death stare, that's another moment we called -NotACult-
The Kami Band here are insane set of elite musicians who were send to help with the metal sound, "kami" means roughly "god", they're wearing burial white robes and corpse face paint to represent those spiritual entities.
They rotate so probably you won't see some of them in all live concerts (especially the guitarrists).
They are:
- Míkio Fujioka, god of guitar, a beloved member, sadly he passed away in 2018. (R.I.P.)
- Leda Cygnus, god of guitar, he's the only Kami Band member who's credited as a session musician when recording some albums tracks.
I would love if you can go with the rest of the songs of this special live concert but if you want another song that ranks high as a favorite you can watch:
- _"Ijime Dame Zettai"_ live at Sonisphere Festival 2014 and you can witness a turning point in their career and a different type of live performance unlike this one with big top notch production.
Kitsune up and see you next time!🦊🤘🔥
12:18 _Now Pizza Time! (Pizza Time!)_ 🦊🤘🍕
No doubt this is one of the greatest hits when performing live and that's why they finish the concerts with this song, just like recently at Sabaton's Europe Tour each one of the night performing.
In this case they are:
- Takayoshi Ohmura, god of guitar, he's Míkio' Fujioka's pupil (another beloved Kami Band guitarist who sadly past away) and a prodigy child, you'll see his recognizable pink guitar or golden in other moments.
Actually, it was not Mikio playing, I think it's Leda
@@autohmae Nope. That is Mikio with his unmistakable nose. That guitar he is playing is his ESP Utratone-SL7. Leda was the other guitarist playing on Hideki Aoyama's left. Mikio has always been on BOH's right side. This is the Legend 1997 Apocalypse concert in Dec 21, 2013.

@@BagoPorkRinds sorry, my mistake, Road of Resistance was not Mikio and Headbanger was Mikio. Silly mistake of me.
@@autohmae No worries. Although Mikio was at Saitama for this concert but as a guest along with Yuya Maeta, the backup drummer to Hideki in 2014.
Be careful, the foxhole is deep, it's kinda like a labyrinth and even has hidden doors, that will reveal parts of the lore around Babymetal little by little 😜
If you don't understand something, just keep asking. From the experience I've made so far, I can tell you that the Babymetal fanbase basically are very kind and helpful people who love to help you out, if you've got any questions about Babymetal. 🤘🏻🦊🤘🏻

Great reaction! Herman Li and Sam Tottman played the guitars on the studio version. They don't have writing credits, but it's easy to hear what inspired the writers, hence why they invited them to record the guitars. 🤘🏻🦊🤘🏻

I believe this video came out in 2015 meanuing Su was 17 at the time and Moa and Yui 15/16
dragonforce helped them write road of resistance
Guitar parts were by Sam Totman (Dragonforce’s primary song writer) and Herman Li.

If you want metal with some interesting electronic experimentation, then I would recommend BxMxC as well as Kingslayer (the latter being a Bring Me the Horizon song featuring Babymetal). Both songs experiment with some very cool effects.

I think Herman is quite proud of his collaboration on this song, he still has the guitar he used on the studio recording and someone offered him 20k for it but he wouldn't sell it
My 2 favorite Babymetal songs in one reaction??
You're awesome brother, keep up the good content!
in my opinion Babymetal - Amore (Fox Festival 2017 Live) one of the best. Incredible instrumental and vocals. One of my favorite video. I recommend it to everyone 😄
I would put this on a par with Road Of Resistance.
(For my taste)
I like Fox Festival first of all for the sound. And I like to see musicians. And I love such stages, without screens and tinsel.
So, to answer some of your questions:
Legend 1997 refers to the year SU was born, and that show was held in 2013, for her 16th birthday!
For Road of Resistance the guitar parts were still written by Babymetal, Herman Li and Sam Totman did the guitar arrangments and they played the guitars on the studio recording! THey also played this song live together at least once, at an award show. Herman Li spoked about how he had to modify several times their parts before Koba ( BM's producer) was sarisfied xD
Herman Li praised the Kami Band how they interpreted the song and how they played it live!
If you would like more songs with elecronic vibes, there are plenty :D
From the first album:
- "Iine" official MV
- "uki Uki Midnight" live at Budokan 2014
From the second album:
- "From Dusk TIll Dawn" live at Budokan 2021
There are plenty from the fourth album, but i would leave that for later :D
ナイスリアクション👍
あなたの耳は完璧です!!
そして選曲の順番もベストな順番です!
And again almost 90% of the reactors put there missed the most integral part of the song in which the audience shout out K-I-E-R-O.
I just saw your BabyMetal reaction videos and you nailed it. Those are the songs I considered many should react to.
I'll Suscribirme jajaja
Buen trabajo!!! Greetings desde Bucaramanga!
I remember this comment, sorry for the late reply.
Loved the Espanglish 😂
Thanks! Saludos from Bogotá!
DragonForce help them right road to resistance Herman Li talks about it on his channel occasionally.
This live concert was SU-METAL's 16th birthday celebration and also the concert where the ritual of renouncing man and being reborn as a metal goddess took place☺️
Please take a look at this live performance of the song BABYMETAL DEATH!
From Japan🦊
You should try, Ijime, Dame, Zettai live at Sonisphere 2014, and Tales of the Destinies, Tokyo Dome 2016.
Lyrics say "Kurokami" at one time, that's why they show their pigtails at that time (not exactly at the seam time as the lyrics but that's why).
🤘🦊🤘
You mentioned Marty Friedman, when Marty goes on tour who do you think he takes on tour to play with him live ? Yes, one of the Kami band members.
Just look up the video: Marty Friedman Vs Takayoshi Ohmura - Live Guitar Duel In Madrid. It's a good example of them playing together.
Marty Friedman, who now lives in Japan for maybe 20 years already ? He was the first 'western' metal musician or maybe even any metal musician (I would have to check the timelines) who encouraged and helped promote Babymetal.
React Rondo Of Nightmate - Baby Metal
I recommend the opening and closing songs, "Ave Maria" and "Death," from the Legend s 1997 show, the same one as Headbanger here and Gimme chocolate.
😂 She's on the left of Su, but on the right from watcher perspective
This concert legend 97 is a musical and theatrical masterpiece from start to finish and a must to have in any music collection imo 🦊
It's 1997 because that's the year Suzuka (Su-metal) was born and this live was on her birthday.
Hmm.. if you haven’t done so yet, Rondo of Nightmare with Mischief of God intro.

Why Su has that death glare:

underated coment 🦊❤
Catch Me If You Can is my favorite. It is the maximum combination of cute and heavy ever in the history of mankind.
But you would probably love Arkadia. It wasn't written by Dragonforce but it sounds like it was.
For a stripped down look at Suzuka's vocals, do The F1rst Take's Monochrome (Piano version). For a look at the matured Babymetal and an outlier song; 2021's From Dusk Til Dawn. I just discovered that tune and I am floored by it.
That statue is of the fox goddess Kitsune from Japanese mythology.
We need MORE Babymetal )
When is the next guilty gear video???
I suggest:
Find your one way

Perfection can’t please me
Disaster of passion
The hourglass
Speaking of Japan, anime. Speaking of anime, Japan.
And the three girls' performance is at the level of anime(=flawless).😍😍

Check out Syncopation next. It's quite brilliant, and one of my favourites.
1997 is Su Metal's birth year
So to answer your question, in my honest opinion, you should probably continue doing the songs in a somewhat chronological order.
This was also the last song of the night for them, so they were all exhausted, and even though they were enjoying the crowd and performing for the crowd, I'd be willing to bet money that a) Moa was also thinking about food and wanting to eat b) Yui probably felt like eating a Tomato and c) Su wanted to take a nap lol
That was a great reaction. Great song
Hope that helps you out a bit, lastly, in case you want to be able to tell the difference between the 2 dancers, Yui, the one who left, is the girl with the chubby cheeks, and tends to looks a little younger (my opinion anyhow), Moa is the one with the huge dimples in her cheeks when she smiles.
He came to that idea when she was 10 and doing pop.
Some Japanese bands, old and new. Babymetal's road of resistance was my most favorite because im affiliated to the osu community, that's the first time i got introduced to metal rock, in this case "ror" was sounding like it was made by dragonforce lmao
i dont remember if ROR is inspired or its a collab between Babymetal and Dragonforce but its one of those two
@@amaranth7362 For me i just liked the guitar melodies for sure idk about the progression of the actual song but man those guitars are smooth ngl
If you want to see the Kami band really flex you need to see Rondo of Nightmare - Live at Budokan Edit: never mind you already did
Rondo of nightmare
Great performance,very powerful🔥
The statue is Su-Metal not mother Mary that was for her 16th birthday show
When Moa and Yui hold up their pigtails Su is singing about the long black hair of the metalheads blooming like a flower when they headbang.
Why Su can sing without losing her breath is probably unexplainable, even for Grington300 300 or Jake Muller🤔
Because the songs aren't particularly difficult in that way. In the more difficult ones she gets audibly out of breath often
@@michelm.6033 Well she doesn't always hit every note.
@@michelm.6033 Then also, you don't hear any breathing sounds from her. They are the reason why she is often mistaken for a lip-sync🤘😊
*Su runs on a treadmill while signing. That dedication to her craft which she mastered! Best live band ever!!!*
The treadmill is just an urban legend.
@@evifes9182 An urban legend that never dies. 🤣
Yes. He played with Marty Friedman.
And Marty recommended him to join BABYMETAL project.
"Headbanger" Legend 1997 Apocalypse concert is a epic show celebrating Babymetal Su-Metal (Suzuka Nakamoto) 16th Birthday 🎉 or Seitansai @ the Makuhari Messe. Spot the Pikachu in the middle of the crowd, you won't miss it!.
Headbanger (Babymetal song):-
"Headbangeeeeerrrrr!!!!!" (ヘドバンギャー!!, Hedobangyā!!) is a single by the Japanese heavy metal band Babymetal.

Babymetal singles chronology:-
"Babymetal / Kiba of Akiba": (2012)
"Headbangeeeeerrrrr!!!!!": (2012)
"Ijime, Dame, Zettai": (2013)
Background and release:-
Unlike previous tracks released by the band, which had her vocal recorded in segments within the songs, Nakamoto had her lines recorded in a single take several times.
Tekina Remix:-
During the live performances Legend "D" Su-metal Seitansai at Akasaka Blitz on December 20, 2012, and Legend "1997" Su-metal Seitansai at Makuhari Messe on December 21, 2012, a remix titled "Night of 15 mix." was performed, containing more elements of electronic music.
KamiBand:-
The KamiBand are the instrumentalists (or backing band) in BABYMETAL - Each member is a "god (Kami) of music" summoned by The Fox God stage by stage. All the Kamis are male except for the Babymetal girls. The Kami Band wear corpse face paint and white robes depicting Japanese 🇯🇵 spirit. The Kami Band have their own jobs and side-projects in addition to BABYMETAL.
Babymetal original Trio:-
•Suzuka Nakamoto: Su-Metal (2010 - present).
•Moa Kikuchi: Moametal (2010 - present).
•Yui Mizuno: Yuimetal (2010 - Left Babymetal in 2018 due to undisclosed health issue).

1997 wa sue birth day
The drummer Hideki cant feel his own legs after that lol.
1997 is the year that lead singer Suzuka Nakamoto was born. The concert was in December 2013.and was honoring her birthday.
Yui Mizuno is the one who left in 2018 because of health reasons.
I think SU-METAL is an athlete.
Dalí seems to be interested in Babymetal too.😁
if you want to start at the beginning the "Doki Doki Morning", recorded when Su was 12 and Moa and Yui were 11.
It's really cool to see real musicians pick out technical things.
I hear the thing. It's nice to have a term/name for the thing.
Hedoban Hedoban, Hedoban Hedoban
Legend 1997. 😂
I love research 😂😂
I will say my favorite songs are Distortion... really heavy... and Yava... ska-like guitars (I was in a ska band in the late 90s, so it puts a smile on my face when I hear that type of guitar).
falilv virtue and vice please
Really enjoying your reactions! I think all their songs are good, most of them great and some are amazing. I made a quick list of tiers and separated the songs per album so you can choose as you go forward. I excluded the ones you've already reacted to. Since it's BABYMETAL, these tiers are not just based on the song, but rather the whole performance.
*Amazing*
1. BABYMETAL: Akatsuki (Budokan Black Night 2014), Ijime Dame Zettai (Sonisphere 2014), Babymetal Death (Legend 1997)
2. Metal Resistance: No Rain No Rainbow (Legend S - copyright), YAVA! (with Kami intro), Tales Of The Destinies (Tokyo Dome 2016), Syncopation
3. Metal Galaxy: BxMxC (live compilation), Shine (Legend S - copyright), IN THE NAME OF (Legend S - copyright)
*Great*
1. BABYMETAL: Catch Me If You Can (with Kami intro), Doki Doki Morning (official video or Budokan 2021 or both for fun!), Onedari Daisakusen, IINE, Uki Uki Midnight
2. Metal Resistance: Awadama Fever (with Kami intro), Amore, GJ!, Sis. Anger, The One (dedicated to the fans), From Dusk Till Dawn
3. Metal Galaxy: Distortion (Download Festival 2018), Kagerou (with Kami intro), Starlight, Arkadia, DA DA DANCE, Brand New Day, Night Night Burn!, ↑↓←→BBAB, Elevator Girl (Japanese version), Shanti Shanti Shanti, PA PA YA!!
*Good* (These songs are fun. I really like the last two and they also happen to be some of Su-metal's favorites to perform)
1. BABYMETAL: Song 4
2. Metal Resistance: Meta Taro
3. Metal Galaxy: Oh! MAJINAI
I think it is very subjective which songs are great and which are amazing after the first album. I don't think I missed any songs, but this is just a quick list. There are so many great performances and interesting details that had to be left out because I don't have time to write it all down. I left out the latest album because we don't have many live videos yet, but it's safe to say most (all?) of the songs are great. I put "- copyright" to indicate which I know must have a filter on top.
dobra reakcja. proponuję posłuchać cover. Dragon Force. w wykonaniu Tina S. th-cam.com/video/XpASSx0ecTU/w-d-xo.html
Loving the Nubie reactions! It’s always fun to watch someone on the journey 🤟🏻
I would highly recommend the following;
From Dusk til Dawn - live Budocan 2020
Tails of the Destinies - only been performed live once (Tokyo Dome 2016) and I was there!!
And another favourite of mine on top: „Metalizm“ from their newest album
you need to see their live Pa Pa Ya video
21:54 the girl from the left which you are mentioned "she is having the time of her lif3..."
Is YUI ❤ (who retired from the band) the cutest the prettiest the most energetic and the smallest out of three, she is the icon of babymetal not was but forever.
