    Good fault-finding procedure, but I would suggest it's highly likely the fault is simply a bad connection between the sensor output terminal and the flying socket. Before doing anything else at all, with faults like this, I always spray some contact cleaner on the connecter, wait a few seconds for it to do its stuff (and for excess to run off) and re-plug. More often than not that will fix things. Of course if you replace the sensor that will fix things too because the new sensor has a lovely shiny clear contact surface.

    Hello. I have the same fault but I don't have a brake pedal going to the floor . I've changed the master cylinder and still can't get a brake.. . Originally the pedal just went on the customer with know leaks... Could it be the abs unit

      Yes it does sound like the ABS unit if you could block off the pipes coming out of the ABS and then press the brake pedal if it goes to the floor still it has to be the ABS
