2:17 YES!!! AFTER MANY YEARS, IVE FINALLY FOUND THIS SHOT!!!! My grandparents used to live in Corvallis and ive been taking serious interest in this particular rail line for nostalgic reasons
Hi again Vick thanks for posting these P & W videos I really enjoy watching them I do wish you could put together a DVD that I could watch on my DVD player I dont have internet at home right now useing MC Donalds free wiFI thanks Dave from Oregon
Excellent footage, they certainly do shunting on a grand scale! Lovely sounds from those diesels, I'm off now to The Diesel Shop to check them out some more, they look great in that Orange and black striped livery, didn't we have a colour scheme like that too? Only joking, many thanks for sharing!
The line to Munroe is embargoed (may well now be abondoned). There is traffic to Venel farms which is about a mile or so south of the yard in Corvallis. Nothing south of that to the best of knowledge but I haven't been in the place for almost five years now unfortunately.
+freighttrainsahpassing It was in the afternoon if memory serves me right. There is a PNWR group on Yahoo, they may be able to give you an accurate update.
My new favorite TH-cam video.
Hey you should do a video about the Portland western railroad

Long ago (60s,70s) this traffic was handled by two Baldwin S12s based in Corvallis.
1803 the boss
Is 1803 still with PNWR?
Apparently to the roster it says it’s still in service with the railroad oh by the way I have never seen this locomotive before but I really want to

How much of that line South of Corvallis is still in use, and how often? Do trains go all the way to Monroe?

What time of day does that train run from the farm or at least did when you were still there ?
