Tilder needs to polish up her interviewing skills. Granted that maybe she wants to guide or control the narrative so it's not riddled with unnecessary information which prolong the videos but isn't that the whole point of video editing? She interjects a lot not giving someone to narrate their story the way they see fit - she doesn't take into account the fact that some of these pensioners are still haunted by their crimes even though they were perpetrators, her style of interviewing is condescending to these prisoners. She's very animated when a prisoner tells her the crimes that got them jailed and the comments she passes are judgemental. The way she acts surprised when she hears murder as if she's never interviewed murderers before. Most of them feel bad already for being in prison so there is absolutely no need for her to make them re live their pain. She needs to approach her interviews from a place of empathy (genuine not fake) and non judgement. I cringed yesterday when I watched an old DNA show interview of hers when she was passing silly comments about how such an 'old man' whith gray hairs is single. The poor man was the alleged father who turned out not to be the baby's father. He had already explained that he had planned on marrying the lady but she cheated on her..Tilder didn't hear all that because she probably was busy processing judgements in her head to pass on the poor guy. If it wasn't for the man's alleged tsano who made the whole mood lighter by his ghetto youthfull sense of humour it would have been a hard to watch interview. I'm not trashing or putting you down Tilder but just highlighting important points that I as a viewer feel you need to improve on. I'm sure I'm not the only one who feels the same. Apart from all that, I love watching behind bars.
