Chickens can’t eat onions
Onions & Garlic - While onions and garlic can benefit humans, they contain compounds that can cause anemia in chickens. So, it's best to avoid feeding them to your feathered friends.
Be careful with giving onions it is deadly to dogs and maybe other animals
Not good for chickens either.

No onions, no garlic, no tomatoes, no peppers and no uncooked potatoes. They are poisonous for chickens. Find out a little more.

I am cracking up... onions to a chicken. My first thought is chickens passing gas, you know the looney tunes in Washington are claiming that cow farts are damaging our ozone. I'm crazy I know that just made me laugh.

I sit outside of my townhouse and listen to the wood peckers, owls, morning doves, mocking birds and cardinals, as well as the geese flying over. Plus, once in a while, a hawk.

Have you both had problems with those woodpeckers destroying your new deck on the gain bin we are having issues with our decks and have stuff people have told us that would keep them away Owls and reflecting devices and there still coming im close to having to remove them Permanently.

I was told not to feed onion, garlic or potato peels to my chickens. This is my first time raising chickens. I guess onion and garlic just affects the taste of eggs.
If your eggs end up having an onion taste, you'll know why.

Crazy bc I was told that with woodpeckers too. And my mom said after my oldest brother n grandma died 2 years apart the same week that God sent her 2 turtle doves n sure enough no matter were we go we see 2 of them all the time.
Chickens are looking much healthier. I am a long time viewer I wish I can come to the meet up it’s just to long of a drive.
I have 20 acres in Michigan and use TH-cam videos of calls and a Bluetooth speaker to call the woodpeckers in all the time.

It’s like a petting zoo around there… you two love your pets. Dogs, goats, pigs, and chickens. Only thing that helps feeding you are the eggs from the chickens. Need to grow a few chicks to eat.

Woodpeckers have some of our trees looking like Swiss cheese.

I think you're right if you see a woodpecker a lot of works coming. When I lived in Montana the woodpeckers pet holes in our log cabin. So no thanks I don't want to look for woodpeckers 😂

Get coops to save there coffee grounds, food and vegtable scaps. Take a big bin and little for inside. Your filling seats, they help feed the farm. Hell plan bbqs and make a mobile smoker you can mount on your trailer on a skid. Most fun is the all night smoking party.
