Love it but the no backlight kills me
Why couldn't Gopro's miracle engineers make the type-c waterproof? This is the failure of an extreme accessory
Here in Australia is not available via Gopro.com or in the shops :-( - hoping this will change soon
Sorry to hear that. All of the new mods and accessories keep going out of stock in the USA too. Hopefully more stock comes soon!
I just bought my new Gopro Hero 10. I'm looking for a remote device. The price of the Gopro remote is almost $80 and the Generic brand around $30 less. Is the generic brand such Telesin, Reygeak, Yoctop and other generic brand works as good as the Gopro brand. I'm just a beginner and use for personal use only. Is it worth to the big difference in price? And what is the pros and con. Thanks
We have not tried third party remote controls, but they probably work pretty well.
Thanks for sharing,I will buy that remote

Great video!
I just use voice command when I am in action with the GoPro mounted.
Ah yes, that is also an option. We prefer seeing the confirmation that the GoPrp has started recording and that it remains that way.
This remote sure could use a back light option hard to use at night
Agreed!
I reckon driving is the best use for it
Yup, driving or any hands free action sports when the camera is mounted to a helmet.
@@Gemini_Connect might get one for when I go on the road trip. Is the remote water proof?
I don't want to buy anything else from gopro, selno disappointed in hero 9 , but thx for sharing ...
Fair enough.
I need to get this!
It's worth it!
The type-c is not waterproof! It will not charge if water gets in. And the water gets in ! The lid is cheap and not waterproof on type-c
Great video guys - thank you. Remote still not available over here in the UK/Europe 😭
Bummer, I'm sorry to hear that. They're on short supply for all of the new accessories and mods here in the US too -- hopefully they can speed up production to meet demand.
