- Finally got around to building the PJ50
Some things to note;
Check the linkages and make sure you centre them in their neutral position. I had to wind the elevator push rods as far as they could go in and still ended up having to subtrim them back to the neutral position.
I have removed the stock nosewheel light. It was quite a warm LED and i wanted something closer to the full size so I swapped it out for another LED bulb.
I also installed recognition lights with the "Wig-Wag" function as the full size have.

Haha thanks Sir Jeff! Now that it’s assembled it’s time to hand it over to our tame test pilot. Some say he naturally faces magnetic north, and that all his legs are hydraulic. All we know is, he’s NOT the stig…it’s Yoda lol

Nice set up but what I dont like and I will do in my video is what alot of ppl dont know how to set up a PNP receiver to there planes!! It seems you was more impressed with changing the lights than what ppl really want to see. What you should of done is showed a complete video how you installed and programmed your receiver for this jet and that would of been a great video.
You did 👍 ok. How many channels did you end up going with? I thought you said it was with a gyro too. So at least 8 channels?
I haven’t installed the gyro yet but I will. Below will be my end setup
1: Aileron
2: Elevator1
3: Throttle
4: Rudder
5: Landing Gear
6: Flaps
7: Landing Lights
8: Elevator 2
9: Gyro gain
Power from the UBEC goes to the BATT port in the RX
So, are you saying you took the complete stock lighting system out, and put Daves complete lighting system in? I want the wigwag landing lights for my XFly G650. They look amazing on your plane!! Thanks for the info!!

Hi there, I installed the wig wag lights to mine… curious to know how you wired the red rotating beacon light on the underside of plane?
