I have the Freewing AL37 and I really enjoy just landing it! It's so scale! This PJ50 will look really nice next to it out at the field.
If you ever make it up here to the valley....we fly at ASU west campus. East parking lot and fields. In Phoenix by Glendale boarder. It's not a club...just a bunch of guys like me who don't wanna be in a club...lol. ASU has been extremely cool to us. We fly there anytime of day. Have night flights and BBQs. Very cool. I have some videos from out there on my channel as well.
Man..,thing that sucks about March release it it starts getting hot by May! Gotta get out there early and winds are always outta the east until afternoon. Way the parking lot is laid out... much easier to use rwy 26 R,C,L than 8 R,C,L....lol. Jet liners and Lear jets don't like downwind landings. Can get away with it with F16s (I have 2) A10, F18 and Draco. Well...Draco can land anywhere anyway. 😛

Oh God yes! Amazes me watching these guys that spend years and thousands of $$$ building amazing planes..,and then can't land worth a damn! Landing is my Jam! I absolutely love scale landing the AL37! Little nose high on approach. On the glide scope, throttle controlling decent rate. Ride the wheelie as long as possible!
Even commercial pilots spend 6% of their entire careers just landing! About 90% watching movies on Ipad...lol. you gotta be able to land! I even practice downwind landings. Love crosswind landings. Love about 8-10knt winds!

The dual color wingtip LEDs and seeing a real world grass takeoff with suspension are my favs. Slow flying is the best. JSolt published their 139mph pass video... so we know this bird is quick, too. So what to show next? Inverted passes? :D #Limbo

Also, a turbine-ready commercial jet would be a cool marketing idea. You guys would have to get into the turbine game, but I don't see anyone else doing this type of turbine jet mass-market.

Hard plastic wheels tend to chatter or squeak if they're not lubricated. I put a couple of drops of WD-40 on mine last weekend, but a spray-on dry lubricant might work and it wouldn't attract dust and grit. Also, I tell new EDF pilots to start shooting approaches as soon as they get their new plane trimmed out. I've seen too many of them zip around playing jet jockey until their battery doesn't have enough juice left for a go-around..

We are very close to arrival. But the conatiners leave customs whenever they can.
Would be great if we could program reverse thrust on the ESC's . Thats the future, eflite has made it a regular thing and I think others need to follow suit.

That could be cool if you could try to fly with a further aft CG, you can move the LiPo aft just 3mm by 3mm and measure the CG every time…I think it’s not risky to move 3mm the LiPo 🤙🏻
My field is not for the faint of heart thats for sure.

Hello, I recently bought a plane from your website but it. Crashed before take off because we did not have a long enough run way. I am thinking about getting a new one for my birthday but I was wondering if the receiver and transmitter and other various parts are interchange
You can definitelty transfer receivers to other planes

Hi James, nice video. Can you please post a picture of your 5000 mAh battery location inside the aircraft? I just assembled mine and I need to put my ~750g 5000mAh battery all the way to nose to hit the marked CG under the wings. Thanks you!
my admiral 5000mAh is 700g, where mine is located could be different than yours. Whereever your battery gets the CG is where you should fly it

I guess my question is if I had to place my heavier 750g battery as far forward as it can go to hit the CG, how your lighter battery achieved the CG even if you pushed it all the way to the front? But I guess I need to do my own flight tests and adjust the location accordingly.
@@Big-Hass For sure. CG is really just a range. The book CG is a solid starting point then everyone needs to adjust to suit there flying style.

Why do you guys always keep your battery position a mystery? I've watch dozen video's on this plane and no one showed inside fuse for best battery position.

for sure, but a landing where your plane is fine to take off again, is a great landing regardless
