I have to install as similar type of light but it has 2 white and 2 Black chords coming out of fixture. Do I connect the 2 Black wires to the black one coming out of ceiling as well as connect the 2 whites to the white one coming out of ceiling?
Why are the double set of wires already tied together with a cap, then another wire for each going to the hot and neutral of house? The light we bought is just 4 separate wires, can I just connect the 2 hot and 2 neutral to the main hot and neutral without this step? I've never seen that and nothings ever cone that way. Or did you leave that out of steps?
I’ve only seen that when there is a remote control or other sensor wire. Just splice the black wires together, the white wires together and the green/ground wires together. Any additional wiring from the fixture is either not necessary or should have some special instructions.
Good clear directions. I liked the video. Whatever the constant sound is in the background (like a small dog bark) is obnoxious and distracting. The music alone would have been just fine in conjunction with the video.
I did this the new light I hooked up but my kitchen lights were on the same breaker what went wrong?
Thanks for helping with my boob light! I took it down to paint, then forgot how to to put it back up 🤦🏻♀️

Yes. Double check with the instructions that came with the fixture though
@@HeirloomBuilders I don't have any instructions sdbi bought 3nd hand

I have a red wire in addition to these wires what do I do?
Not sure unless I saw the installation instructions. Probably Just leave it alone. It may power some other sensor for a remote or something?
Thank you
Great video bro
Thanks
Thanks for some reason. The light my wife purchased had no instructions
Thanks, I have something near that, maybe I can fix my globe so it stays on.
Great video dude.
Hi, question I'm taking off my ceiling fan and putting a normal lamp, can I use the same two wires that were connected to the ceiling fan? Thank you.
Yes.
