@@chrishayes5755 I had a big ol' pillar cyst that grew on my crown for over 12 years. It was basically a walnut sized, rubbery lump on my head, that was under the skin - so my hair still grew on the skin over it. For a decade I didn't care much because though it got big, because it was always perfectly hid by my natural hair growing on, and over it. Even when I cut my hair short, you couldn't really see it, as I had dense hair on my crown.
However, by the time I got it removed last year, my full head of hair was thin and balding, and I had developed a bald spot on my crown in only the last few years. Unfortunately the surgery to remove it and the 10 staples used to hold the wound shut - they left a nice sized scar there (about three inches long)... and oddly enough, a little dent running along it where they removed some tissue too that had grown around the cyst under the skin.
So now I gotta wear hats all the time now, unless I want people seeing a long scar with 20 little pin-holes next to it, and a very lightly sunken in den/tench. Stuff like this would be a life save if I could afford it. There are a ton of reasons a guy might want to not shave his head completely if he can help it.

i honestly get it completely. for some reason it's ok for women to talk about and do something about insecurities and things they don't like about their appearance, but for men it's considered weird if they care. but i don't think it should be, if someone doesn't care, fine, but if they do, it should be ok.

There is such potential for growth in the hairdressing field in SA.
Somehow we just are not hitting the mark in my county.
I find the barbers & hairdressers that come from north of our borders to settle in SA are far more skilled than us locals -
They come from DRC, Angola, Kenya & even as far north as Nigeria.
These very talented foreign nationalists came to settled here, starting up many salons & barbershops all over the country.

Ignore these people. It's a nice thing. If someone wants to relive the days of having longer hair or never had longer hair then this is a good time for them. Hair is shallow,it's just hair. The people mad about this are putting way to much weird psychological implications into something so extremely inconsequential. Tupees have existed for EONS and I bet you a million bucks none of these people bitched about that.

I wonder how healthy it can be to be gluing materials to the skin... the outcomes are visually amazing... the guys are so so transformed.. I can see how the customers are so happy .. it's just the blocking of the skin with glue & material, which shuts down the pours but that's the trade off I suppose... life is so short that hair loss is actually a really cruel process but life on the whole is riddled with harsh outcomes... at least these guys have happy outcomes from a creative barber
