    The Weihrauch HW97 with the laminated stock was one of the first air rifles that stuck in my head when I started shooting many years ago. At that time, I lacked the money to buy it. I enviously read the Facebook posts of other users who were showing off this beautiful rifle there.

      Great vids. I recently subscribed to your channel and I'm glad I did. Informative reviews on your website as well! Thanks a lot for your devotion to our sport.
      Do you ship to the Netherlands? And secondly, would you prefer the 97K to the 77K for competition?

      Right, my favorite too. The best springer air rifle on the market with PCP precision if you know how to shoot it.

    I bought one of these in 22 from a friend who had only had it for a few months and it was obviously like new and I only paid around £300 last year and what a gun it is and very very accurate and looks amazing. Then in the same week I saw a second hand beech stock for sale at one of my local gun dealers for £50 so now I have the best of both worlds as I can take it out hunting with the beech stock and not worry about damaging the lovely laminate. I have it zeroed in at 35 yards using webley accupells and it’s giving groups around the size of a 20 pence piece. It’s definitely a gun that’s a keeper.
    I’ve always been a fan of the Weihrauch rifles having also two hw 95k’s in 22 and 177 and again very accurate and I believe that the 95’s are the best break barrels within their price range and one that’s easy to carry around and light enough that you don’t get fatigue. I also have a little HW99s in 22 which is my go too rifle for the odd rat that might decide to take up home under one of my garden sheds!
    A month or so ago I replaced my hw100 kt in 177 for a new one that has the new style stock which is my third in a row and I love them as they have been around for years and have never let me down. So yes I’ve a bit of a Weihrauch fan but only two weeks ago I bought my dream springer which is the air arms pro sport and I’ve wanted one for absolutely years but they never catered for such as myself as I’m a lefty shooter and when I found out they had started to do left handed stocks I started putting money to one side every month and now I own one in 177 and what a rifle it is, I thought the hw 97 was accurate but this is on another level all together. Not only is it the looks of the rifle and the beautiful walnut stock and gold plated trigger, it’s the shooting cycle it’s so smooth to shoot and accuracy well again at 35 yards it’s producing groups less than a 5 pence piece and that’s pcp territory. The trigger is fantastic then just a dull thud as the pellet leaves the barrel hitting the target each time every time, it’s absolutely fantastic and without a doubt the best springer I’ve ever shot in my life.

    I bought mine in licensfree, 10 Joule with .22 caliber, but updated to 22.2 Joule with licens so I can use it for pestcontrol. little bit heavy but works well and shoot very good. If anyone think to get one I can only recommend to get one. Nice video of a great airgun. Göran Sweden

    hey bro! i have a question, do you know why they have chosen such a short barrel length for this rifle??

  • @JohnVentarino-ey5ln

    Do you think 22 caliber is better then 177 for the HW97K for target and hunting my friend.

    What exact scope is on your HW97K. I know it's a Hawke but what's the full name and magnification of it.

      Probably max.10 meters I do better with my HW30 and iron sights.. The German 7,5 joule limit is a disgrace for this wonderful air rifle. One of the main reasons not to live in Germany......🤣You can't even punch a hole with a flat nose .177 pellet on 80 meters in a paper target. Totally useless to own a HW97 in Germany and even worse with a HW80 in .22 or .25 cal. Even a 10 meter match rifle like the FWB300S or Diana mod. 75 has about 8-9 joule power.

    • @biraskara1
      @biraskara1 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@rapalaron6348 agreed. No springer can show it’s true potential with 7.5 j limit.

    • @rapalaron6348
      @rapalaron6348 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@biraskara1 Yeah, it a bit of a shame. Weihrauch produces the best springers money can buy and for the Germans it,s no more than shooting a bb gun.

    Like the old version beech stock more. The "cut outs" under the cheek piece is just following the hype. A airgun with 7,5 joule is always easy to cock and has mostly a low recoil. 7,5 joule is a disgrace for this wonderful air rifle. I shoot less than one cm. groups on 25 meters with both of mine 21 joule versions.
