I'm a 22-year-old woman on the autism spectrum, and Jim was pretty much the voice of my childhood. Growing up, I watched a TON of Disney stuff and other cartoons, especially Disney. And of all things Disney, I think I watched more Winnie the Pooh than any other character. Just hearing Pooh's voice brings a huge smile to my face, and I guess Pooh's entire character helped me learn to be the kind of person I am today. Pooh more or less shaped my childhood in a rather innocent and kind-hearted way. Mr. Jim Cummings, PLEASE don't stop being your legendary self! The world needs more people like Jim these days!

He was in the very first Disney Channel show Dumbo's Flying Circus. He played Lionel the Lion. Bump in the Night was a great stop motion show that aired on ABC from 1994-1995 but was rerun until 2001. He played the lead character Mr. Bumpy. It was a great show. You can find it on TH-cam.

He even started calling my then boyfriend Mr. Tigger and it was honestly amazing how he remembered it for 4 years, he has the biggest hearts and is one of the kindest souls I’ve ever known. Working in special ed was the best part of my high school years/life.

I met Jim at Fan Expo Boston 2017, and he is pretty cool! I remember how his first time voicing Pooh was in "The New Adventures of Winnie the Pooh" Saturday morning cartoon in 1988, and then beginning with the third season in 1990 Jim started voicing Tigger too!

@@MrParkerman6that's true he isn't. Sterling Holloway (1905--1992) originally voiced Pooh, while Paul Winchell (1922--2005) originally voiced Tigger.
Cummings took over the role of Pooh years after Holloway retired from showbiz and passed away in 1992, and was able to take on the role of Tigger as well upon Winchell's passing in 2005.
