      Dave Williams, editor, replying here. If you mean this INTRO on TH-cam, it says the SD version is done but for whatever reason it says the HD and 4K versions are still processing. I've no idea how to hasten that along. It is odd that after all this time those version are still "processing."

    i always find it amusing how lots of people run around the bike, to get on it, even though the bike is standing upright :D

    Hey Dave, do you have a video of tuning the suspension on an old R6 1st gen?

    Hi Dave :) Do you have any videos or tips for the S1000XR? (2015) Full EDC set up.

    • @catalystreactionsbw
      @catalystreactionsbw  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Sag should be in the 35-45mm range. Depending on odometer readings, suspension will gradually need to go firmer to two riders or eventually dynamic pro as the oil ages. With DDC, suspension oil needs to be changed every 15,000kms for DDC to work optimally.

      @@catalystreactionsbw Perfect thanks very much. How do I go about setting the sag with no external adjusters for the shock or forks?

    Hello DMT team! Just checked your events calendar and verified you'll be at Laguna in April! Likely to need some setup changes having never ridden there. Dave set the suspension on my R1 at Reno Fernley Raceway (YES, IT'S BEEN THAT LONG!) and it's still the single greatest upgrade done to the bike! Nothing has made it feel more confident or improved laptimes more than the short time it took before and after a session for Dave to make the adjustments! I've been off the track for many years now but am finally in a financial situation to get back into it. Is there anything I should do before getting back out there? 2004 R1 ~25k miles, full graves exhaust, PC3, dyno'd with 160hp to the ground at 3500' elevation, stock suspension, geared front -2/ rear +3 & Pierlli SC2 v2 slicks. I worked in Virginia City for 4 years and would commute from Sparks to VC on any day over 50 degrees so the last ~6000 miles are from spirited riding on Geiger Grade
    Thanks for giving everyday enthusiasts a racer's level of support through your tuning expertise!

      @catalystreactionsbw  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks for the kind words and happy to read that you can at last come back to the track. You might want to get the forks and shock serviced locally prior to Laguna so we start your track season with fresh oils. Or, buy a stock shock off eBay at $40 to $70 and get that refreshed so you simply swap shocks.

      I've signed up for freemium on your site and will gladly go premium to tackle the job myself if you have a video covering what I'll need to know. I see videos on both GSX-R and CBR 1000 fork oil changes. Will this tell me what I need to know for my forks or is there a better video?
