  • After the bike sat in below 0-f for a couple days, and rain the rest of a week, I decided to do a complete tune-up check. The magnet was touching 1 side of the coil pick-up as 1 side gets closer as it rotates. I removed the entire coil cleaned it, and adjusted with cardboard gap tools ;) Plug gapped @.030 .Fuel is 93 oct.Semi-synthetic oil mixed at 20:1 as it's still breaking in.
I cleaned the carb after draining the fuel tank and removed the old filter.
I used a new piece of fuel line to blow through all ports, adapters. This is a 2 mile ride in 33-34f temperatures. It did hit 21mph for a moment accidently near the end. :)
Sorry for the abrupt end, I was looking to see it was still recording.Irony...

Hey thanks for sharing. Nice seat set up. Cool lights. Looks cold in your area. Where you at ? . Don't know how I wasn't subscribed to your channel. Great video great neighborhood for a motorized bicycle. Your video reminded me of when I use to ride my motorized bicycles all around my old neighborhood. City of Lynchburg va. Sadly I moved to mayodan nc nowhere Ville. I over complicated the purpose of a motorized bicycle yrs ago. Sure wish I watched this video about 7 yrs ago. I would have kept things simple.

TY.I'm in the middle of Michigan. It's not a big town as I can ride about 10 mins in any direction and be out of it.I've seen a few other motorized bikes during summer, but more are going electric. I do get allot of questions about the bike, and am hoping more build 1 to enjoy.

I can't believe you're riding that with that clamp on screen door roller chain "tensioner". I was almost killed by one of those things. It got pulled into the rear wheel and locked it up solid. I crashed hard. Lots of injuries. But it could have been far worse. I was in a bike lane, with a sidewalk on my right and bumper to bumper speeding traffic on my left. Fortunately I went down to the right, or I would have been run over by several cars and wouldn't be here anymore. I can't believe they are still making those things.

My frame is Oval so it can't twist, but thanks for the warning.I use a gear and not the plastic pulley on the tensioner as it lasts 1000's of miles and keeps the chain lined up to the sproket.I had a 'spring tensiner' and it allowed the chain to bounce on rough surfaces and jammed causing me to crash last summer.

Looks like the 56 tooth Sprocket, Thats as Big as I can find without have to modify something but if I want to use my CVT setup on a build I need a Big Ole Sprocket to get close to gearing, Thanks for the ride around 👽👍🏻

Always ran my old 87 Honda CR-500 two stroke race bikes fuel mixture at
    32to1 full synthetic 👍

Thank you.I plan on using that mix after it's broken in.I still have good cross-hatch in the cylinder so I'm taking it easy.I've only let it run up RPM's freely a few times so I don't get a ridge when it's set.

LoL,thnx. I only cleaned the steel sleeve to match the ports and the Reed valve is the "mod". It only keeps the 'backflow' from the running. I did nothing to make the motor different. The Poo-Pipe is getting removed and the muffler will be 'modded' to flow free. Thanks for watching.

Stack 3 base gaskets Open port exhaust up a little bit and get rid of that junk carburetor it will run a lot better took me a year and a half to get mine running 50 mph

Thanks for your comment. I did take the cylinder off and raised the exhaust 3-ish mm, and the transfer ports about 4mm too as I checked with the head off,no intake or exhaust on and looked closely at where the rings and piston were to each..Have shopped for gaskets but can't find 'head and base' gaskets only
