This is mostly for fun rides, and some builds.
I ride bikes Everywhere.I like to build and modify them for durability and comfort.
I'll show some of my area, and try to find new places to ride through too.
I spent 2 months watching so many different videos, and used the best info I could on my build.I hope I can share some of that with you too.

Quick 52mm Muddy Roads Ride
15-25mph down wet sandy roads is always challenging as the holes are different daily. Sorry for vibrating picture. I have EIS, but had the chest mount over my jacket and the straps weren't tight enough.89 Octane with 4oz(32:1) Penzoil XLF semi-synthetic 2-stroke oil.52f and the wet air didn't give me squat for torque.NGK-6 plug.Stock muffler, except inside tube cut to 1/2".

I let the Torque of the 52mmx40 stroke pull me up.It held about 12mph on the more than 1/4 mile uphill wind. Most of the houses here have heated driveways as they're so steep up to the garage. I rode from the beach area of 'Big-7', to the campgrounds at 'Sand Lake', to see if they'd redone the 71 camp spots. I let the motor rev freely. I couldn't go flat out when the leaves were heavy on the road as I like living. :) I hope you 'city bound' people enjoy open countrysid...

A look at fall colors as they start to change in Mid-Michigan. 20-25mph is easy to maintain with the power available with the 52mm cylinder. I wanted to show the Millpond's surrounding forest and the start of the color changes, and show the exhaust has broken in and is a bit louder, but freer flowing too.

I missed this one nice park
Thank you.
I was thinking about buying a 52mm P85 or Avenger 85 but not for $200+ when you can buy a 125cc 4 speed pit bike engine for $200.
Look at CDH Power for kits. You may find something as good, for less. The thing about pit bikes is you have to license them and most aren't road legal at all. Good luck.

Nice Car Show 👽👍⚙️
Car shows always great. Thanks for the ride.
Nice ride tho and cool scenery
Is it me or is there usually a chain problem with these bikes smh glad you got it straightened out let us know how long it lasts
Mine was loose and when I backed it out of it's parking spot, the master link caught on the tensioner.I only noticed the chain off the guide sprocket and put it on, not caring the chain was loose. They stretch as they break in and even 1" play is loose.(lesson learned) I started the bike and the chain came apart. Fixed both problems in a couple mins.
Yes some people use wax paper over the plan when they pin the parts down over the plan. I prefer not to and sacrifice the neatness of the plan because the wax paper can distort the view. Cheers!
New bike looks good Brother!
Thanks Skip.
👍 Off Subject Random Comment: Wish I had done it sooner. I made a little HHO torch years ago....I'm gonna run an HHO bottle off a rechargeable battery 🔋 on my bike & run a combination of gasoline/hydrogen-oxygen onto my engine & see what kind of mpgs I pick up & maybe more HP....If I can get it dialed in & a worthwhile mpg improvement. Then I can later add a bigger one to a 125cc engine to go from 90/100mpgs up to 140/150 mpgs. I can use the $25 runleader temp gauge. To make sure engine isn't overheating from too lean. My 85 Yamaha Xj700 gets crappy mpgs due to being 5 speed. Like only 30 to 35 mpgs if I go 65+75mph. I gotta go 55mph & keep rpms down if I wanna see over 40mpg. An HHO system with a rechargeable 12V or 24V 5AH lifepo4 battery. Might get me closer to 50mpgs for a $75 investment in parts & battery 🔋 TKOR old TH-cam video built a really nice looking hho generator.
Good luck.It sounds like you're working towards a good goal. With a 2-stroke I can't see hydrogen as fuel until someone makes a good metered oil injection system.
@@bryduhbikeguy Ya, I was gonna use gasoline/oil at like 32:1 instead of 40:1 with HHO added in.....I seen a guy hook a hydrogen tank & regulator up to 2 stroke motorized bike engine & ran it for a few seconds without oil. To prove that a 2 stroke engine can in fact easily run off 100% hydrogen or HHO. I was gonna try 75% gasoline(2T oil) & 25%HHO then try to go up to 50% gasoline 50% HHO mix & lower the compression a bit & retard the timing if there is any pre ignition issues. The hho loves to auto ignite without spark like diesel fuel. If that works then I'll try to dial in a 125cc 4 stroke pit engine on 75/25% or hopefully 50/50% so you could be getting 190-200 mpg. Then use a regular rechargeable ebike battery 🔋 mounted on the motorcycle. For the hho power source, HHO isn't as efficient as an electric vehicle. But a diy hho system is way cheaper to build than buying a $5,000 55mph electric motorcycle. Plus it's a hybrid so if your battery goes low & you run out of HHO. You could adjust the carburetor to run on gasoline only. I think the HHO could work on a 125cc...But on a bigger 500cc you'd probably need a much bigger battery & hho tank. That'd be hard to hard mount. Many hho videos ran off the car or motorcycle alternator are bogus. But some hho videos are legit...I think if you could go from 90mpgs to 140 or maybe with luck to 190mpg. It'd be worth it if the hho battery & parts were only $150-ish investment. I got my lawnmower to run off 100% propane just by using propane torch bottle & rubber hose fed into the intake. You can run the mower for 30+ minutes in a small closed garage & not get gassed out coz the propane burns so much cleaner. I should keep my mower rigged up for propane. Since I have the fill tank adapter to refill the small green tanks from the 5gal grill tanks.
@@michaelbrinks8089 That may work out well. You probably know to put the tank in the freezer for a couple hours so it'll draw more propane in when refilling?.
@@bryduhbikeguy Ya, freeze em....It was surprisingly easy to get the lawnmower to run on propane. Since the carburetor/engine only runs at one speed (no regulator needed) .Just a propane hand torch & rubber hose. Then play with the propane/air flow ratio. Once you you figure it out. It'll start on the 1st pull. No more screwing around with pouring, storing gas & clogged carburetor from gas left in bowl over winter. I'm pretty sure a gasoline HHO mix can work good in small engines like 150cc...But would get more complicated & dangerous on bigger engines. Due to needing a bigger hho tank & more electricity/bigger onboard battery 🔋..You can make a safety pop off cap valve on the hho tank lid & add an inline check valve to prevent a spark or backfire from sending an explosion 💥 back thru the hose to the hho generator tank..But with the pop off cap, the tank won't violently explode. Similar to the safety valve on propane tanks. To where it'll shoot a flame 🔥 out but won't explode like a grenade sending pieces of the steel tank in all directions...A small hho tank mounted at the rear of the bike with the blow off cap facing away from you. Shouldn't be a problem....On my old 700cc 5spd Yamaha it'd take over $20 to go 85 + 85 = 170 mile back to my old city. I'm wanting a 250cc gas/hho motorcycle with 6th OD gear that could do it for $5 in gas at 70mph.
Bry taking us around! Thank you, man. Thanks for the ride.
Thanks for checking it out Leo. You're welcome too. Will be doing a ride weekly to show the color changes if that sounds cool.?.
I forgot about those awful 52mm iron sleeve kits. That come all screwed up stock. After a lot of work to fix the factory defects & proper porting they can rip. I wanna a gas/electric hybrid bike 🚲 that can safely do 55-65mph on the hwy. With a fwd ebike kit to be legal in areas where you can't ride a motorized bicycle....If I can't do 55-65mph at least 45mph so it doesn't take forever to get places & you can somewhat keep up with traffic on narrow roads.
In almost every State, the legal limit for a 'Motor assisted/ motorized bicycle' is 30mph. That's why I put the 36T on this with a 10T on the motor. It's a great rpm at 25mph, and can do 30mph too.I just don't want to go fast. An electric hub drive for the front is a great plan. Good luck.
@@bryduhbikeguy Ya, most places don't bother you now...Some towns in Iowa do though....Back in the 80s cops were trying to arrest and/or ticket kids for riding skateboards.. I basically wanna build a stealth 125cc motorcycle that has pedals & a fwd ebike motor kit. I seen a couple awesome 125cc full suspension bicycle builds.
I would advise against the fwd e kit. Some other people have said it creates a weird gyro effect, making turning less stable. I plan on using a mid drive to hybridize mine.
@@1RickSanchez My problem is illness now slowing me down & no more garage/workshop or a 240V outlet to power my MIG welder...I'm kicking myself for selling my 120V AC 🔌 HF $120 flux welder for $50 to a buddy. Now I need to buy another one, since I can't use my 240V mig.....I'm worried about the chain drag in Neutral and drag from ebike motor. I need to figure out what won't create drag when you're just trying to pedal only....As far as 2wd mode...I think a 2wd hill climb boost mode would only be safe at low speed...Either rwd only, fwd only or low speed 2wd. Otherwise weird gyroscope effect can occur. On 2wd ebikes they use identical motors on F & R wheel and only like 2 750w or 2 1,000 motors. So you're not going 55mph in 2wd.....But the 2wd scooters go 55 65mph in 2wd mode. So....it might be OK. 🤷♂️
What's with the run away idle do you have an airleak?
That's just a poorly adjusted cable that moves and drops too low, so I rev to keep from stalling.
@@bryduhbikeguy oh mine has an airleak somewhere I think the reed and it revs when I let off the throttle also I need to balance the crank
How much power would you say the 52mm has compared to the 47mm? I got a set of 110 cases for free and I wonder what can I do with them. 070 Stihl maybe? Some good performing cylinder would be nice
There's a good addition of torque with the 52mm. I can just ride up hills I had to pedal to assist with the 47mm. I don't know what cylinder may be mated with the case as it has the semi-round transfer areas versus the triangle like shape of the standard case. I have seen that most chainsaw cylinders come with a base spacer though. Kevin's Garage would be better to ask.Even Raoul has changed stuff with cylinders.Good luck.
