Ditto on the dirt as it's been too cold to pull out the power washer as the garden hose didn't get drained and is frozen in several spots where the water set in the coils.
I'd say the expansion chamber so far away defeats the purpose. It's meant to give power spike with certain RPM, this doesent let burning gases back to cylinder for the powerband to appear. Rejet with much bigger jet and/or make some diy expansion chamber out of chainsaw pipe or sum small pocket bike's pipe. Use castrol TTS oil when making and checking mods to pipe setup to prevent seizing piston. Looks like a cool ride
That pipe is robbing you of the performance along with what looks to be a 52t rear sprocket great for low end torque but will not give the available top speed of a 40t or smaller sprocket😊
Thank you.I'll be taking the poo-pipe off.The 56t sprocket is for trails and the hills around here which can be steep, but ty. I did the 44t,and then a 50t but I just wanted the torque of the 56t.I'll be using a smaller on the next build.Happy Trails.
Thanks for the ride along brother and nice little pipe u have there some ppl might not like them but looked.like it was working good on ur bike be safe out there brother
The flex pipes are very restrictive too brother. If your looking to just make power cheap but not be crazy pound then just gut your stock pipe. Take out all baffles and drill a couple more holes in the main pipe and then a couple small holes in the cap. This way it’s quiet but still has some power. I have a video how I did it to mine on my channel, hope that helps brother. I’m listening to the motor run as you ride but it’s hard to tell with that pipe on but as for now I’m hundred percent sure that the pipe is restricting it cause that’s how mine sounds when the pipe is slowing it down. And I had very good luck with those carbs and like them a lot but I had to put a 72 jet in mine but I have a bunch of port work done to mine so a 70 jet might be fine but I can’t tell for sure till you change up that pipe. I have a bunch of those 52mm iron sleeve motors cause I think it’s the best daily motor you can buy once you fix all their lil issues and I know for a fact that 2 of my stock pipe where just as restrictive as that poo poo pipe is. When I took it apart it was cause the holes were all drilled in lower part of pipe and the internal stinger was extremely long causing the pipe to work exactly how it’s supposed to be work but that caused it to be very restrictive since every cut and hole or pipe length was at the most extreme size it could be. Hope this info helps you out brother ride safe.
One worked Great on the 66. It's not doing so well on this, but I'm pretty sure my problem is the 1 stripped cylinder stud leaking.2 things are needed with them.1.Tilt it down so oil drains.2.Drill a hole in each of the steel parts and put in a screw to drain from. The 1 from my 66 weighed about 3 times it's original from oil.
Thanks ERT. I used a 44 to start, then did a 50t to try trail riding with.I settled on the 56t as my area is so hilly. I'll take a ride down a main dirt road soon to show why the 56 is needed. It's my favorite yet is pretty scary at time because the road sides are so steep and covered with loose gravel.
I don't know.It worked great on my 66cc, but 47mm is quite small compared to 52. The poo seems like a cork to it.It got louder and crackles out the tail, but the top end isn't there anymore.Tony, from bikeberry did a video comparing several exhaust and this was 2nd or 3rd.
My bike is extremely dirty, cleaning it has been on my list of things to do but still haven’t done it yet lol thanks for the ride 😎

@@bryduhbikeguy Yeah man, still too cold to do anything. Gonna clean it up a little as soon as its warm enough to enjoy being outside lol
Thanks for the ride bro and them pipes are real restrictive far as speed goes ride safe bro
Thanks.I did notice it doesn't want to rev like it did, even with the clutch in. Happy Trails E.
Bry thanks for the ride along brother sounded great to me
Thanks Mike.

Thank you.Appreciate the info too.
What does Castrol do u think it's better then royal purple

Thank you. I appreciate that.
Same exhaust i got on mine. Works good for me. Ride safe my man
Thanks. It worked well on my 66.

Thank you. I'll modify the muffler and put it back on, and I'll save the poo for the 66 I have for my next build.
Great pipe for small engines, meaning the true 49cc. You will have to rejet your carb to get the best performance out of it. Thanks for the ride.
Thanks Leo.
THanks for the demo Buddy! I've always wondered if these were any good.

Looks like you stopped at the same park I did..😂
LoL. Only if you were in the middle of Michigan :)
@@bryduhbikeguy I know but the pavilions look identical
A 44 or a 32 be great for the set up you have . That rear sprocket ⚙️ is to big . Good for up hills

wouldnt the long pipe to the expansion chamber defeat the purpose of it?

Up is reserve down is normal flow technically.
Thank you.
52mm?? Dang i might have to make me one hell my pony is a 50 mm ..but it's modified street scooter i got a few and all kinds of engines and parts
never used a poo pipe before. It does seem to be restrictive
I was thinking about running a 5/8" drill into it for freeing it a bit ;) I'm just going to mod the original muffler by hollowing it out.
To restrictive of a pipe , you’ll need to rejet the carb
Thanks. The plug did look a tad lean.I'm taking the poo off and putting the modified original muffler on.
🖐👀✌
Thanks for stopping by Kevin.
Is that wide open?
LoL..No. It has about 10hrs on it and still Way under broken in. It probably has another 3k rpms. Thanks for watching.
