Great pickups! Merry Belated Christmas Mike. That Uncanny X-Men #295 was the first X-Men (and Marvel) comic I ever got off a spinner rack when I went to a grocery store on Halloween 1992 when I was 12 years old. Read that issue over & over. Took me a few decades afterwards to go back & get the rest of the X-Cutioners Song storyline.

If I’m not mistaken, Cable uses most of his mutant power to help keep the techno-organic virus from progressing. Nate Grey is a nice alternate version of Cable who is free from the virus and is able to utilize his mutant power to its maximum capacity. These are some nice pickups. I’m always a fan of those 90s X-Men comics!

I also love the steranko nick fury books. My favorite one i have is #6 nick fury in space. Great books and always enjoy the videos. Also im trying for swamp thing 1-10 wrightson covers. 11 is the only other issue id want. Love the cover as well

That sale looks incredible. Saw a ton of stuff I woulda picked up from the unbagged copper/bronze age stuff. Very nice. Love the Dali-style Fury cover, and I think that’s a very cool collection to aim for next, I look forward to seeing all Steranko as you get them. Great books! I have had only one bad experience in a comic shop I was in New York visiting from cali I don’t remember the name but it was an older woman with glasses and was not very friendly but every else I went comic shops were great!
Omg Finishing his Dad’s run. That just gives me a warm feeling. What a cool thing. Anytime you can pick up Monster comics especially Tomb of Dracula. Great stories. Lots of Gene Colan art. Great Pickup. Lots more story than just biting people Clones are scarey. No wait wait. Not clones. Clowns are scarey. Don’t be embarrassed. Pay it forward sometime if the circumstances are right. Ah, the ol’ “ mark everything way up so when we stick a 50% off tag on it we’ll draw them in and still make a huge profit”!!! Dude, this type of sales gimmick is the oldest in the book. Hobby lobby are masters of it. JC Penny, does it well too. The 50% tag is a lady in a red dress!!!!!😂😂😂😂😂😂 That being said, an even better sale is starting a successful TH-cam channel!!!
Originally from buffalo, NY. All the comic shops back east (northeast) were very nice with friendly people. Unfortunately, I’m in Northern California, and the comic shops are not friendly or welcoming. (Also, everything is overpriced, not by a little, but by a lot. Which is why I have to buy online). I miss the friendly comic shops

Yep, so glad I stopped reading X-Men decades ago: your X-Man explanation made my head hurt. It sounds like writer after writer went out of their way to make things increasingly complex. Lovely cover art for X-Men Unlimited. Jan Duursema is a hugely talented artist who really deserves to be better known. Dick Ayers, pillar of Silver Age Marvel, started his long career in the Golden Age with Atlas' war books.
