I just realized that Pike’s official art has no fun buns and I don’t remember she had ever been described as having them before that episode, meaning that Liam’s improv inspired *thousands* of fan art
I just had the same realization!!! I just assumed- especially since I've been listening to C1 while working, not watching it- that she always had the fun buns.
it is genuinely fascinating how much liam has expressed empathy for others' distress, and desire for their physical or emotional healing through RP regarding their hair
Liam's love expressions apparently include 1) Giving long beautiful descriptions of places/things for his table to enjoy. 2) Creating things that people have mentioned wanting to know more about from a previous thing (think Der Katzenprince (I apologize for my spelling, I'm too lazy to look it up atm)). 3) Hair touches/affectionate physical touch (In and out of character).
honestly ive heard people criticise that he "hogs the spotlight" or whatever with moments like this (think the hour long nein sided tower tour) but i absolutely adore it. its just so comforting like i could listen to liam describe braiding his friends hair or read a fictional storybook for hours. he doesnt have go out of his way for these details but it adds so much to the rp, plus its just really lovely seeing how much effort he goes to for this story hes creating with his friends :')
Honestly there's something really relaxing about just messing around with someone else's hair. I used to loved sitting on the couch and braiding my mom's hair as a kid.
Personally, having my hair touched or played with is extremely relaxing. Including having it fixed, brushed, styled, etc. it gives a feeling of care and love. My mom would stoke my hair or play with it a lot whenever we did anything together, and I would pretend to style her and my grandmothers hair growing up. I wonder if this is something Liam does with his family.
I am actually so happy that i haven't seen a lot of these episodes yet so i have no context for the sad ones and can just enjoy how much I love Liam's characters ^^

I don't know if you did it on purpose, but thank you for putting all of the saddest parts in the second half of the video, so that I can use this for heart warming purposes even on days when I cannot handle the heavier stuff. I just need to perfect the timing to see the Trinket moment too. Also, I love this so much!
