  • Deep drop fishing is fast becoming popular with offshore anglers.
And not just Australia but around the world.
    bit.ly/deep-drop
It's a little more outside the box than general bottom fishing, as waters are deeper.
Deep drop fishing is defined as bottom fishing in very deep water, ranging from 100-500 metres in most areas.
Amazing species can be pulled up from the depths if you have the right equipment.

How long do you live the line soaked and if your drifting east do you go west and drop over the sea mount???

You leave it until you get a bite. It’s hard to explain the drift as the area covered by your Sounder is larger than a football field at that depth. We cover it in Sounder Skills 2. www.fishsmarter.com.au/products/sounder-skills-2/

Mostly 7/0 depending on the target species.

Maybe Seanb you could show us a photo of a Queen snapper with a long filament to the upper fork of the tail. Before calling people a liar you might need to do some research. Please be aware that people call the same fish different names in different areas. The only true name for a fish is the Latin scientific name. Flame tail snapper is E. coruscans and Queen Snapper is E. oculatus- they look very similar from the same genus.

This is more about the lazy fishermen of Australia. Machines doing all the work. Its most probably sponsored by the manufacturers
