Ya'll have reached out to me so many times about underwater footage and me not cutting or editing it so here it is. Let me know what ya'll think and if you like it or not. I'm editing the full cut version where we catch some more fish and do the catch and cook. That will be out soon! Leave a comment below and ENJOY =) Thanks everyone
What type of electric reel do you own is it the one company that the guys that worked at daiawa broke off and built a better and bigger version of the tanacom?
8:14 omg you can see his him checking out the bait when you dropped it back down to the bottom! His eyes were glowing! Heiko this is some of the most badass deep water drop footage I’ve ever seen!!!please do some more drops with the camera rolling
Muskie have eyes that glow in the dark like that. I’ve seen some giants in the water and they look super scary when your light hits them. Makes me want to escape the water as fast as possible. 😂 big ole tiger Muskie are beautiful but I don’t want their teeth in me either.
Man I would love to see a video where you are chilling at the house tying rigs... like 20-30 minutes of all different rigs you use for each application and tutorials on how to tie them.
Terrific camera work. Amazing footage! The fish looked quite scary but you don't realise what a monster he is until he breaks the surface. Well done Heiko.
That was sick! The bottom structure was so interesting to see and those green eyes before he hit was nuts. One of the cooler videos I’ve seen in a long while. The squid was almost glowing in the light, I bet a whole string of them with deep drop light would be super productive.
Awesome footage Heiko. Incredible how the sound of the reel motor vibrating along the line is picked up at that depth. Beautiful fish, can’t wait for the catch and cook 🤟🏻
Paul Edwards what if that wasn’t the reel motor vibrating along the line , maybe it was the fish saying help me I’m hooked and he is going to kill and eat Help me. Ha ha maybe fish say that . I know it hurts like when you get hooked
Bro, that was awesome. I learned so much. That camera worked great and lit up a large area really well. The bottom relief was interesting. The underwater sounds were surprising at how loud and weird they sounded. The fish venting as it decompressed, that was a lot of gas trailing away. Getting to actually see something happen is important than just knowing that they're supposed to happen.
Great video. This video provided some much needed answers on rig and tackle reactions deep dropping. I’m now crimping everything with barrel swivels. Thanks
that was fantastic. Had me on the edge of my seat, not knowing when there was going to be a strike. Great to watch and I'm looking forward to seeing the entire video. Great job, Heiko. You got us!!!1
Yea man more underwater footage! Your so lucky you have such good visibility where you fish, take advantage. I’m always learning something from underwater footage, thanks man
Heiko ....more vids like this please. You were the inspiration for me to build a deep drop rod and reel setup. I taught myself how to build the rigs and have been experimenting with alternative materials for stinkers. Keep them coming. I don't even know if you bother to read these comments but I personally would like to see some technical videos on rigging for deep drop swordfish rigging.
Yes. ..Yes....Love under water fishing ..is GREAT Love ya videos...your cooking. .is getting better. .Keep it coming...Your settings is always nice. .Good pictures. ..
Thats great footage. More of that is needed my friend. Great way to see how different species fight or how the eat how they move in groups etc. Love what you do. Keep doing your thing.
Hay Heiko, that really was one nice fish. It looked like a brim at first glance, until it surfaced, (WOW)FINALLY got a good sense of the depth and bottom. (Excellent)😎
Very informative Heiko. I’ve always wondered what went on down at the bottom when you deep drop. That fish cam does a great job. I was surprised by the brightness of its light. Keep them coming...I really liked this different perspective.
Really incredible footage. Hope everyone tries to enjoy the exploration part of this kind of fishing and don't kill your spots. It's addicting to pull up deep monsters.
Love the underwater footage. Congratulations on such a beautiful fish! I really enjoy watching you guys go out and bend a rod or spear. So much better than anything on TV. Best wishes for continued success from Geiger Key!
I was thinking the other day, I wonder why he doesn't use those line cams anymore? I figured you lost them or something. Good video! It was a little wild to see those green eyes appear in the depths. Like some sort of unknown sea creature. Nice fish!
While watching the Snowy coming up I was thinking he looks kind of small, OMG! When he broke the surface my 1st thought was that is a whole lot of fish sandwiches! You can show all the underwater footage you want, I be right he watching it!
Awsome video , very cool perspective looking down on the fish as he hits and u reel him in . Congrats on what looks to b an awsome meal , or three , lol . Can't wait to c how u prep and serve . Keep the kicka** vids coming brother .
GREAT VIDEO!! That is by far the best Deepdrop Snowy Grouper video I have ever seen. You did a great job of keeping the rig taut but in contact or near the bottom. I could tell you backhauled for a bit to get some curve out of the mainline and then dropped back down. As you drop back down at 8:00 and make contact with the bottom, you can see the ticked off green eyes of the Snowy Grouper at 8:15 and then within a few seconds it makes a solid hookup on the top hook. Good Job! Snowies are my favorite eating Grouper. You had some good eating that night. Congrats! We need more Fish Porn!
Underwater footage videos are amazing and alot of people want to see them. Glad you got a cam. How about bait presentation. For instance how live shrimp looks rigged freeline hooked through the head/body/tail.
It sounds like that fish is making some VERY sad noises regarding his bad decision! All the bubbles he's trailing toward the surface, is that the fish lungs getting bent? Fascinating video! Well done!

The sounds the camera picks up are crazy cool. Nice fish Heiko!
This FL boy loves the videos can't wait to see what's next

I loved how his eyes lit up from the camera and then POW!!! Food on the hook..Loved it and please do it again..
Well done, I have never seen this before. Seeing a fish actually being hooked. Thank you for that
Awesome footage Heiko. Incredible how the sound of the reel motor vibrating along the line is picked up at that depth. Beautiful fish, can’t wait for the catch and cook 🤟🏻

I had the same anxiety, waiting for the bite. Then the sounds of the fight down deep freaked me out, that was not what I expected at all.

Very informative Heiko. I’ve always wondered what went on down at the bottom when you deep drop. That fish cam does a great job. I was surprised by the brightness of its light. Keep them coming...I really liked this different perspective.

maybe roe?
Fish doesn't have lungs. They have gills. Only thing goes pop is their swim bladder, but it doesn't look like it.
Holy shit batman...good vid.
Yeah buddy!!
Awesome footage!
This video is awesome.
