I am losing it. The artstyle is wonderful, the way you made everyone except Patton brightly coloured is amazing. And Patton is just generally perfect for this song.
The water is where all the dark sides live, and the sides on the boat have to try to stay above them, since they're good sides. But Patton's being called to by Deceit and the dark sides, and he finally loses it when the other good sides start fighting and slips off the boat to join them.
My GOD. This is so amazing (even though my heart is shattered forever). My favorite part was definitely the "Well, who made *her* captain?" I got literal chills seeing the mixture of fury and hurt in Patton's eyes... Anyways I'm going to go cry now thanks for being amazing
I knew I was gonna cry, cause this song is emotional by itself. I can imagine this being real since Patton is sensitive at times. I loved the little bit where Deceit popped up then when it said "if I wear the wrong outfit" it gave him the outfit from "can lying be good." It made me think of how he felt before he was taken over by deceit, and when he jumped in, Deceit took over him after.

Watched Heather's for the first time yesterday and let me tell you, I freaked out when Lifeboat started! I had no idea it was from a musical and I got blasted back 5 years earlier to this exact video. Didn't realize how much this video made an impression on me, but it did, and I just wanted to come back and say it. 5 years and I never forgot this video. How special is that ♡ Still love this video, still love Sanders Sides, and now I love Heather's! (Plus, now I understand the Heather's references in Sanders Sides :] )

So to get this straight, Patton and the others are stuck in a lifeboat. I suppose the sea can eliminate a side? Or it’s is like a gate to the dark sides or possibly damages a light side? The storm kept getting stronger and stronger and the life boat and only hold 3 sides. (Maybe the sea represents Thomas’ hardships and problems and it effects the sides) everyone starts arguing on who will have to leave. Logan could say he is important for he is well logic. Roman says that he is important for he is a big part in Thomas’ personality. Virgil says he’s important because if he wasn’t there Thomas would be well you know what happens. Patton gets overwhelmed and thinks that ‘maybe I should be the one to leave, I only distract and distribute dad jokes...’ and so Patton sacrifices himself? I’m sorry if this is wrong I just wanted to say what I was thinking. I really loved this! Amazing!
I love this animatic so much! You did an amazing job on it. It flows beautifully and the drawings are incredible! I also like how it shows that Patton is not just the dad figure, and that he has other feelings to. I sometimes feel like sometimes people forget that when creating fanfics or animatic. But this song fit beautifully and, again, your art is amazing.
Oh man, I'd thought about this song with Virgil because it's about anxiety and he IS Anxiety, but I didn't even think about how well it fits Patton! He's so desperate to be useful and right all the time and he feels like he can't let anyone see it. I particularly liked the imagery of Deceit's colors following him.

I'm not a ... Anxielity? Whatever! I don't ship Virgil and Patton but, looking at their past I think Virgil would care the most if Patton did that. I mean, Patton was the only one willing to give him a chance. Plus, those two were and are always the closest. Like when Remus showed up, (sorry not sorry about spoilers) those two were the ones really worried about him and the "things" that he brings. Or the multiple occurrences of those two sharing witty banter while everyone is fighting. Those two are almost inseparable, it probably is just because of their personalities but, they are still very close.
