I have heard of a theory that ever since I think accepting anxiety Virgil is actually Deceit and Deceit is actually Remus when they are both in a video together. It was something like that or I think they might have said that Virgil is Remus and when Remus and Virgil are in a video at the same time Remus is actually Deceit. I’m pretty sure it’s the second one
What if there was a good side that took a place as a light and left before Virgil got there. Would he be the orange Thomas needs to make a rainbow? We all see he needs an orange right?
My theory is the orange side is pride and jealousy and the side got jealous of the other sides and left to go to the dark side and Virgil took the sides place

Silver Charm maybe but I also don’t think there is a final side because of the duality between Remus and Roman (“good” and “bad”creativity) Patton and Deceit (morality and deception) and Logan and Virgil (logic or thinking and over thinking or fear) I think there can only be six because they are all opposites of each other. Virgil is Logan’s dark side because anxiety is often over thinking where Logan is logical thinking. But that just makes sense to me because I have an anxiety disorder and the way they have talked about cognitive distortions and how Virgil acts around Logan and Logan not wanting to call him paranoia gives me that impression.

Remus and Roman have extremely similar behaviors, even statements, but Roman keeps it to fiction while Remus actually wants things to occur [for example, Roman has killed Watson for Logan to replace him in the plot, and he has brought up to Janus "robbing an unconscious body," but both were in the playful sense, like making a fanfic or playing a videogame, while Remus would actually consider beating someone up and stealing their shit.] Roman also seems to know of other flipped versions that haven't been seen, like Paranoia for Virgil and Hypocrisy for Patton.) Also, in Redux, Orange says "Hello." While Remus, of course, writes "boobs" as Thomas's score in the AU Mario game, and Virgil kept track of the time, Orange wrote Hello as the score before the fighting game turned into a soup kitchen. It's possible that Orange is the actual new side, to make 6 at the table, but that Remus and the other no-no names that have been mentioned are almost like Upside-Down versions of the Sides rather than their own standalone Sides.

Hot damn, I didn't even realise this but like, Virgil has the opposite colors to the other dark sides. If and when we see the orange side, it's gonna be a dark side, because there's no other reason for them to be hiding, which makes all the dark side have yellow in them. Ya know, our slippery snake boy. All the light sides have traditionally stronger colors, since they influence thomas more. But it goes further than that. Virgil doesn't show up with a color, he's initially just wearing grey, which doesn't match up with how remus and deceit showed up. What if, until after Accepting anxiety, he had no color, or at least wasn't purple? What if he was the orange side? We know remus listens to deceit for some strange reason, and deceit knows a lot about virgil, much more than remus, which is suspicious considering he's known a deceit. Virgil was not the top of the food chain, and we know he's willing to leave when he thinks he isn't wanted. So, he leaves the darksides, and doesn't want to have the color orange since it links him to deceit so he goes grey. Then, when his new group accepts him, he decides to just take a mix of all of their colors, to show he's one of them, coincidentally keeping his red. He is the only main side to have a secondary color, and remus is th only other one in a similar situation, and he gets shoved around quite a bit too. Both have a first episode dealing with how to get rid of them, and Virgil still doesn't seem compleatly liked, or understood, just like how remus will likely never gain a permanent slot. They aren't a primary part of thomas. But that's just my midnight hypothesis. Oh and also very good video, 8/8, would watch again, cried like a baby as usual.
Just a thought, what if the orange side was a neutral side? I meant something like rage? I know rage can be a bad thing but each of the sides experience a scene where they get mad for some reason. What if there was a side that had a bit of control over each of the sides, but didn’t take over completely? I don’t know if that makes any sense but it’s just a random thought. Also, 3 dark sides (originally), 3 light (originally). I highly doubt there would be a 4th bad part of Thomas but I don’t know what the future holds soooo

I love this but as we know Thomas picked Roman, Patton and Logan’s outfits from characters he already established in his vines. Therefore the colors aren’t that deep. There might be a deeper reason than just he “really digs the purple” like what you said but like I said I don’t think the light sides outfits are that deep

Gosh, this is so cool. It’s a good song choice, good story, good art, good animation, good use of colors and lack of colors so it pops without being too much work to draw, and just ahhh just really really good in so many ways. Definitely one of my favorite animatics.
