- A map for the rather large Metroidvania game, Death's Gambit: Afterlife, which is essentially an almost complete reimagining of the original game.

The map isn't complete yet, but it's getting there, and so many people are asking questions about the game that I figure now is the time to release it, as not everyone is using the game's Discord.

I found something not on your map. Behind the warhorn in Obsidian Vale there is a hidden room with an Amarog bow.

Actually, I just found out it’s only when you’re on mobile using the webpage. Apologies! Thank you so much, I played Death’s Gambit when it came out and here I am 3 years later going through it again
I've just checked and came here to report back, to see you've already hit upon the issue: Google Drive's webpage version on mobile (and the app, as it turns out) is awful, unfortunately. At some point I might have to move all 30 or so metroidvania maps to something more easily viewable on mobile.
Wondering something sir i can only find 3 purchasable abilities for Scythes.. -- 60 Soul Energy , Reap and Double Slash. Are there more?
I believe three is correct, yeah. I'd have liked more since I loved the scythe, but alas...
I defeated heroic bysurge a couple of times and he drops capes instead of shoes.

Guys i know it’s 2 years after but how can i get the achivement Omae wa(parry) on steam.
Hey, this is some really great work you've put in there. Since you went through both endings, can you tell me how to reduce m Will? I know I was at 200 sometime in my playthrough but I did something to reduce it, cause now I am at 122. Still to high and I'm not sure what reduced it in the first place. Help would be greatly appreciated.
Defeating heroic bosses is the way to lower Thalamus' WILL over you, and dying raises it!
Dying raises it by 1, defeating a heroic boss reduces it by 20

Having less than 100 WILL will let you choose who to side with at the end of the game, either Death or Thalamus, and you get two different endings depending who you choose. Emphasis on "let you choose", since if you have more than 100 WILL you will be forced to side with Thalamus.
@@YagamiBrando Will shows how much influence Thalamus has over you. Over a certain level (100+) he takes away a choice that you can make towards the latter part of the game that sends you towards either ending A or B. Without Will under 100, you automatically side with ending B.
any idea about the sealed way in the journey ends?
I seem to recall that opened up with the DLC content, which I didn't play unfortunately.
I finished the game on Switch... but it says I'm only 84.3%... what's up with that?
how do i lower the will?
I was wondering if you can only get the immortalite recipe in ng+ or if no there's some secret to getting it. I've been to the spot that it is on the map and can't find it at all. I'm not sure if I'm missing something or what
I got it in NG when I put it on the map. 11 heroic bosses killed was the figure quoted at me, unless the devs have changed it since. Sorry I cannae be more helpful :/

Both are in the second part of the labyrinth. One is in the far right room which is easy to get. The other is up a shaft to the left near the zone line. You have to go left and grab the inf jump flower then come back and use it to jump up! So sorry for the delay. Metroid Dread took me away from TH-cam for a couple days!

Hello, Cool Work ;) please tell me Where the Hell i find Armor Scraps and the special weapons like Infinite Blade, Cautering or Vil'Dradur GSword ?! I finished the Ps4 Version who is for Now without Afterlife Dlc ?! Ifound NO Armor Scraps to Craft the Gaian Leaf and other Weapons ?! Help !!!!
Hey, thanks for the kind words. The cauterising blade is down in the depths of Garde Tum, right near the bottom of that part of the map; the vil’dradur greatsword is on the golden drake knight underneath central sanctuary. Infinity Blade I can’t remember off the top of my head but I think it’s from the boss of the observatory. Armour scraps are marked on the map but you also get them from scrapping weapons and drops at the death idols.

Is this game good?
In my opinion, yes. There's a lot to like about it. I suspect the combat is its most divisive element in that it's fairly challenging, stamina-based combat. If you don't like that, you almost certainly won't like the game, but the exploration is good. (And, let's be honest, if you're thinking of playing on PC you can get past stamina issues with Cheatengine or the like.)
Can anyone please help? En-route to Amulvaro there are 3 owl statues with different colored stones. How to cross?
Destroy the crystals with a weapon of each elemental type. Fire/lightning/dark. You should have got an appropriate weapon from the bosses you've defeated by the time you get there.
@@demajen Man I only have fire daggers and FIN build. How to get the remaining weapons?
I think Crystal Bombs do lightning and those dark sigils turn your damage to dark for a bit. Don’t quote me on that, though, as I can’t get to a computer to check right now.

It's a grate and very useful map. But when I opened it to put my own walkthrough(so as not to get confused and monitor my progress) in editor, and save it... the file didn't open it from that second. Neither as a picture, nor in editor. And that was not useful.
That's really odd. So you went to the Google Drive folder and clicked on whichever map you wanted, and then used the download button in the top right? Or did you try it another way?

Now I came to this video to tell that you forgot to write that you can race Archivist again, he will give a skill point(location under Caer Siorai)... And I think it will be good to write about huge golem before the last plume upgrade.
Did you find aura Pandemonium?
That's found in the Ashes of Vados expansion, I believe, which I haven't played.
@@demajen Do you know where, maybe? Vados is not big, but I didn't find it there.
Had a quick look at the DG wiki. According to deathsgambit.wiki.fextralife.com/Pandemonium it's a rare drop from the item randomiser mode (which I guess was added in with the DLC?)

Warp Orb Generator is in the Migration Chamber, which is only available on the Ending A path.

@@demajen There is a area no one has found from the ones add with Afterlife. 9 from 10 new areas
I think is that inferior left passage in the Journey's End but I don't know how to open that
Aaaaah I only played about 20 minutes of the original so I don’t know what is new and what isn’t. Only area not marked on the big map is ??? which has its own separate map on the gdrive.
@@joaovictorrodrigueskosugi5633 I know this is 2 weeks late, but i have a theory about that. It has something to do with ANOTHER AGR, just like how to unlock Heroic Xyarlohatp people needed to do an AGR to unlock him, we will need to do another AGR to unlock that area. That and/or it also has something to do with the PS4 release of the update. Because remember they originally planned to release the PC version one month after the game was released onto the switch, and then another month after that.
