Does ungrouping and saving two separate files from the larger 5x12 not work when using the satin applique font under the lettering tab? No matter how many times I try to do what you all did in your first 5x12 hoop video, I can't get them to split into separate saved files. I highlight the group and save and both files end up at the whole 8x12 hoop image (I have a SE1900 as well). When I tried to copy and paste into two smaller files they ended up not sewing out correctly (the second half was too close to or overlapping onto my first half). Thanks guys!!

have you figured out how to do this for a design that’s all one piece for example if i wanted to do a giant bannana? Edit: I actually figured it out last night! so i’m using a repositional 5x7 which embroiders 4x6.7 inches so my ink stitch canvas i Made 4x3.35 inches so exactly half of my work space. I then cut the image straight down the center and then put each half on the 4x3.35 canvas and then saved them separately. when i went to my machine everything was pretty much lined up and my design came out perfect! ask to cut it in half i drew a square over half of my design and then used the divide tool
Lil Rice Cuts, can you by any chance do a tutorial for this?? Debating on getting a machine with 5x7 field but this will will save me so much money for a little while longer if i can learn to do an actual design as well!! By the way awesome video you two!! This helped me out tremendously 🙂
@@lilricecuts5665 Hello,do you think this will work for my 4x7 repo hoop?I did it this way and it didn’t read my files, said too big.very sad!please help!!!
Editing is not an easy task, here is a video where we cover some of these issues: th-cam.com/video/OC4AihjskeE/w-d-xo.html As far as we know, at this time you would need to convert it to an SVG File prior to editing.
Wouldn't it be easier to simply fix the layer in which it will stitch. So tht the second half starts right on the farthest end closest to the finished half?
Life savers!! Thankyou for all of your ink stitch videos 🤍
Thank you for watching!
You two are awesome and I love to see you work together making cool things!
Thank you so much!
I bought an embroidery machine because of you guys :)
Thank you so much for watching! That made our day!
I love it. I learn a lot from you two! Even stuff I know how to do seeing you do it a little differently gives me ideas on my own projects.
Awesome! Thank you!

Wow! Thanks for sharing here! Is there a noticeable seam at the center of your two halves?
@@ProjectAnonymous_Duo with the design I did there wasn’t but I will see as I do other projects
Thanks for sharing that info!

I have a 4x4 hoop and would love pointers for doing a larger image that needs to be split, and the hoop needs repositioned.
This video might help: th-cam.com/video/QY04fumWD0g/w-d-xo.html
Loving the videos!!!
I love what you and your daughter are doing keep doing it!!! she's so cute 😍 and can this work for my brother PE535?
This process should work when you are using a compatible hoop that is bigger than your machine is capable of embroidering. Thanks for watching.
I'm am just starting to learn. Can you do a video on mutiple hoop, not the repositionable one?
We haven't tried that before so we will have to look into it and we will add it to our list of video ideas. Thanks for watching!
Can you do a tutorial on a already layered or overlapping pes file and how to cut it in half for the jumbo hoop?

Thoughts on using a small running stitch for the reference point? Could be easier to line the need up to the start of the stitch ?
We've never done this, but it could work okay if you remember where the start of the running stitch is. Thanks for watching!

Do you mind elaborating on this? Fix the layer in inkscape?
please help me. how to convert imported path to satin. i like your videos so much
Hello, we cover this in our Part 2 tutorial here: th-cam.com/video/9WPSHcJ03gI/w-d-xo.html at the 13:58 mark. Hope this helps you!
