you said to use the key switch still, that you want to add the resistor on the ECU side of the harness (gray and brown) and not the switch side of the connecter? Could I just put a resistor inline with the gray wire on the switch side and it should have the same affect
My bike only has 6 wires brown, red, orange, grey a small orange and black/white is there a way I can put a meter on the bike and read the power for lights and then the ecm?
I really wish you would have shown the resistor before you've done this I've got a hundred ohm resistor half Watt and I'm not sure how many percent carbon it is but the color of the resistor is blue bodied is that what I'm looking for
Do you think that this will work on my 2004 Vulcan 1600 I have the same brown gray and white wire I have most of the same wires as you have I have a question about the fuel pump how it's powered in your video but I'm thinking that I'm going to be able to do the same thing with this any help would be greatly appreciated

Yea its an easy trick I used when I did my 750 and 1000 swap. Took me forever to figure it out
