Okay. That freaked me out. Magnus, you looked OVER YOUR HEAD, up in the air, and said, "I thought that was a snake." NO no no no no. No overhead snakes. Nice to catch up with your channel. I fell off the wagon, so to speak, and this is refreshing to see. Too many Covid nerves over here!
Welcome home! I have always found the last landfall both satisfying, and anticlimactic! The end of an adventure and a welcome relief! That has been one helluva trip across the Pacific! You must be chuffed! Well done!
Thanks. It's a bit surreal. I can hardly believe that we actually did it, especially as we weren't planning on doing it! I'm also glad that we made the vlogs along the way so we can look back on everything. You forget so much otherwise. W.
Hallo my dears! Wonderful vlog!👌👍 So glad that you got 'Nutty' home! Quite bloody amazing what Peanut can do! Really beastly of you, however, to put a glass of your brew up to the camera!😖😊🤣 Hope that you and the dogs are fine! All love and best wishes, Claire, Sally and Lucy the cat, Berlin ✌❤

Best of all world dream team
Thanks Garry. We were very happy to be back home in Airlie. The trip was much longer than we anticipated and Magnus was spending many hours working out the best and safest way to get back home. W.
Hi Steve. It certainly is, but we already have itchy feet. So much to see and so little time. We are madly filling the cruising fund ready for our next adventure in The Kimberley region of Australia. Very remote and stunningly beautiful. W.
Great to be home, but we are both itching to head off again. We are in the process of making Nutshell safe for our long adventures in the remote Kimberley region of Australia. The provisioning list is endless and we have to be really clever with what we take with us because there will be no shops for 6 months to a year! Gulp. W.
Good job on the cupboard doors. Shame we're the other side of the world you could have the louvred teak ones from our HC. We took them out in favour of a lift up door as we got fed up not being able to get at everything from the cupboard with the sliding doors.
Thanks for your kind offer. The cupboard doors were just a stop gap until we could get some proper ones made. Mind you, this has now dropped down to the bottom of a very, very long list in light of recent occurrences. W.
When you folks left Australia for England and N.B Nutshell 3 years ago, did you ever imagine the adventures you'd have on the way back home? Thank you so much for sharing. And Magnus, try kegging and force-carbonating your homebrew.
@@LifeinaNutshell Cool, I have been thinking of that kind of solution, probably works only in calm weather? And would not do a tacking as with a tiller? At which distance from the center of the wheel it is best to fix the link to the tiller auto pilot?
So that full extension of the tiller pilot equals the maximum rotation of the wheel. I managed to get about 160° out of ours. Hard over port to hard over starboard. It only works in light weather. I am going to make a mount so that the tiller pilot moves the wind vane once I finish my new davits.
Let’s see the farm we’ve been hearing about and don’t leave out the fourby at least I think it be interesting I am sure glad you’re finally there I really hope all the fires I’ve heard about spared you and your loved ones👍👍
Hi Paul. Work is sell underway on Nutty. Magnus has fixed the gearbox and if weather permits it will go back in this weekend. Then a test 'drive' to see that it's all working properly. W.
