We just replaced most of the plumbing in our boat. I regret that we did not use PEX. The clear vinyl line definitely promoted algae growth as evidenced by the green old lines we replaced. Just need to get a pair of close quarter crimpers.
After 4 years of TH-cam University, a small mono hull for 3 years, and thanks to COVID, we sold up on the GC , bought an old Catamaran ’Hitchhiker 40 ( 9 month refit by us, everything) we are not far behind you. Still love monos’ especially Hans Christians. Loving every minute, it isn’t easy as you know, but the most rewarding thing we’ve ever done. The cruiser community is brilliant with loads of interesting people all with similar stories and values towards life and exploring. SV Pursuit⛵️😎🙏
