In my opinion this is probably one of your best coaching sessions yet. Theres a good balance between unapologetic Neance and sympathetic Neance. This registered alot for me.
I recognize this comment is a year late but I didn't think you did too poorly. It's really just about gauging when you need to e, using your q as an escape or engage depending on situation, etc. I don't blame you for being a little stressed or nervous either, I'm always super stressed in ranked haha, but it's really important to try to keep calm, plan through what you need to do and what your win conditions are, and just use the tools available to you. You got this man :)
Glad to see a client playing a champ that is ALL about the basics. Jax is an excellent new player pick for top. It forces you to get good at basic top concepts and his kit is very easy to use. Also this was a good coaching session
Surprised but this was probably my favorite coaching session from you. The match was hype with him listening to your calls and seeing those results, teaching him to limit test there was great, calling him out the few times he didn’t listen and praising his overall performance, and I totally saw the game in the bag (or at least saving the game momentarily and having a strong comeback) if he hadn’t cancelled that recall last second. I can understand his frustration there in the middle when you had him turn off chat. If the team had gone for baron with him the game would have been a win for sure. If he soaks up all that advice, he’ll easily reach gold. I’m rooting for him.
I hit gold last season after watching Neace. Played Hecarim/Udyr/Mundo jungle. I made an alt account to practice these champs, and grinded about 200 games and ended up in silver 3 with a terrible MMR. After feeling comfortable with my picks, I swapped to my main account and went from bronze to gold in 40 games. The biggest takeaways I learned were TURN CHAT OFF... Seriously turn it off. Turn it the fuck off. Never FF. All games are winnable at this elo. It doesn't matter that you died to a lvl 1 invade. Hey, you learned the importance of warding early! Lastly, don't ARAM. As a jungler, I wanted to control when the fights happened, and on whose terms. Never fight fair.
I enjoyed this episode. Yorick is straight up a brute force tower pusher, and a good champ for newer players to Lane against and learn some things. Taking out maiden basically turns yorick into half a champion.
I like his mindset - somehow nobody gets below plat in their expectations while he said gold first and then he'll see. Small steps is a good philosophy as seeing smaller yet more consistent milestones keeps peple invested while expecting miracles leads to disappointment.
I don't play any lol but I love to watch it and your channel and the advise you give neace. I've learned alot from the way you view things and how you would have done stuff to put ppl into your prospective, really good and enjoyable. Keep up the good work.
Yorick is so difficult to play against right now. I’ve been playing a lot of shen and he’s the last guy I want to lane against. Can’t stop his pushes. Jax looks fun, might give him a try.
Ofc ur not gonna do anything against yorick as shen. Unless you get Tiamat and titanic you have ABSOLUTELY no wave clear lol . You can fight him pre 6 and zone him from cs and prevent him from ghouls and ping the shit for ur jungler to come. Post 6 your gonna lose if ur relatively even and he has mmaiden and ghouls. Main thing overall is u just gotta dodge the ghouls and you Probablly want titanic into him. Pre-6 if he tries to walk up to Q for a grave punish him for it. Once he has ghouls up play next to bushes.
I'm back after a couple days haiatus. Super happy to see you staying calm. Being strict and not giving up (for example with the chat actually getting turned off) is HUGE. I understand you're running a harsh job trying to explain the same shit to people every day. It has to be mentally exhausting, Really. Again. You'r mental was huge this game. Calmer, more relaxed. I'm happy to see you this way.
Great coaching with a very tragic ending, I think the reason the dude canceled back was some confusion when he heard "we want Yorick to come to us and then come out like superman." In his mind he thought Neace wanted him to fake a back. Still love that fight just before this tragedy where he beats Yorick down 2 levels
Compared to some recent videos I've seen, I was happily surprised watching this one since it wasn't a total snowball fest. Got a lot of other information that you just don't from the "how to keep your lead" videos. was very entertaining and informative
Everyone needs to disable that move on respawn option. Screwed up his ability to continue watching for TP play and pressing space bar is basically the same thing as that option.
I would say instead of Biscuits it’s just worth starting corrupting and going Futures market, 300 gold later in the game can secure your items earlier and get you into late game slightly earlier
this jax... kinda funny to watch. Neace is like "do this now "and he is like "ok ok" and just keeps doing whatever he is doing. the ward in middle of lane was hilarious....and he was so reluctant to disable CHAT. BUT JAX a definite 1v9 champ late game
Neace saying yorick is a hard matchup for newer players is true, I started league last May and I played quite a bit of top before I mained adc and I perm banned yorick because I couldn’t play against him
Indeed, Yorick almost always holds the highest win rate out of all champions in Iron and Bronze. However, I was still surprised that Neace had the student play so defensively, because Jax is regarded as one of Yorick's classic counters. Jax's E blocks almost all of Yorick's damage (including the ghouls), and Jax can use his Q to jump out of Yorick's cage.
Yorick is one of the easiest matchups for jax not that he has any actually easy matchup bc hes so weak early but E dodges yorick ghouls attacks also the 10 gajillion damage jumps and his q so its rly easy if you dont waste Q Edit: even if you cant dodge for shit and he hits all his Es you rly dont take that much dmg when you dodge the ghoul attacks
would love to see u get coached by karasmai to learn more about the champ as iv watched alot of hes videos and still stuck getting cheesed and beatin alot early maybe him coaching you could show alot more of what goes into being a good kayn main
At the the end when the client stayed and died you can tell that they depend too much on Neace and don't think at all what they are doing (for the most part, at least)
Jax's team was giving him shit and he was down on himself, but at least he was trying. It seemed like his team just wanted to sit there and stare at the enemy while they take every objective and stare at Jax while he tries to fight them.
Playing jax require a lot of knowledge of opponents hero . The mechanics isn’t too hard but knowing each hero abilities and cd takes a long time to master .
Completely off topic, but I'm not sure where else I would comment this, so I hope it's not too annoying: I just played my first real game (against other players) of league and thanks to your videos, I did okay. I dunno what was up with the Miss Fortune on our team- after I declared support and locked in Soraka, they declared they wanted to do it three times, then ran all over the map leaving me alone in bot lane. So it was me as Soraka vs a Jinx and an MF, and I held my own. Not only did they never kill me (Brand ganked me once), but I scored on kill on them. My team ended up winning and I went 1/1/8. I had the highest vision score in the game (20), though I forgot to put them down often and most of them were probably terrible wards anyway. I played pretty badly, but I did a good enough job at poking that I think I intimidated the Jinx and MF all by myself (and then they abandoned lane for a while when a teammate came in to gank them).
any advice for a player who wants to climb, but champ pool is decided entirely based on what they feel like playing in that moment (not taking into account counter matchups, team comp, etc.)? currently around plat 3, peaked d2 previous season.
that doesn't seem like a "want to climb" mentality, surely if you wanted to truly climb you would play champs you are most comfortable on but at the same time not picking garen into a teemo for example.
17:08 man come on neace, this is not the way to make him do it. Even simple things can be confusing in the moment especially when you're nervous and have people watching on stream. I'm a huge fan and know you have to "yell" at people sometimes but this ain't the way to do it. Felt really bad for the guy, social anxiety can have an effect on this and some people just freeze up when they think you're mad at them. I have a friend who has abusive parents and will just go blank and literally freeze/panic when people get mad at her.
Sorry but i have to say you look like a young Willem Dafoe.. Anyone told you that before? Also great tips you're giving these players. I'm a diamond players and these videos even helped me.
In my opinion this is probably one of your best coaching sessions yet. Theres a good balance between unapologetic Neance and sympathetic Neance. This registered alot for me.
lmao you are joking 80% of the calls were wrong, like the 1v2 in the river and the when he was giving away all that farm when he had E
This.
@@demospetsas7063 that's 80%, damn I didn't even realize it was possible to reach 80% with 2 bad calls. You got some crazy math going on over there.
Like if Neace performed a seance... we could call it a Neance.
“You can put a ward down, all sorts of stuff”
*puts ward in middle of lane and keeps running*
He’s a lil confused but he’s got the spirit
I honestly prefer people who ward the middle of their lane over those who only ward the inside of their inventory.
Where was he supposed to ward? I’m also newer but realized that probably wasn’t what Neace wanted him to do lol
@@gnarbawls1735 i wasnt sure if neace meant ward jungle or if he just meant ward hop
Actually warding like this as jax is not as bad as it could be.
@@droknarnaramor8650 yeah i mean it opens up possibilities for ward hop if need be later or a tp but who knows
hey this is me! thanks for the lesson neace! working on not wasting my jump as much : )
