It's good power for a hybrid car
This is an amazing BMW machine. I have (2019) 330e M sport basic one and it is hilarious x
Fantastic performance and fuel economy, I don't really like PHEV's (mostly due to the useful range benefit before charging needed) but I'd make an exception for this.
I find this style of PHEV to be the best combination. Enough electric range if you daily commute for a few miles, and a lively car for fun and road trips.
@@roborovsky6950 Right, my trip to work is 25 ish km one way and I have access to charging there so I can easily do that with any of the options on the market now. Been looking at 530, 330 and E300e. Bloody hard to decide

couldn't agree more about the styling... eco cars should have a 'sleeper' option or something that makes them look like the ICE counterpart, it will help massively with the uptake

Just looked it up because I wondered that too, its an optional $1700 upgrade called a "Driver Attention Camera" which you can only see on camera (not with your eyes) as it uses IR to detect if you start becoming drowsy or stop paying attention while the car is in a more self-autonomous mode while in traffic, instead of relying on just hands on the steering wheel, it can be toggled off in the console

I have this car with Xdrive and it's a fun car. I'm in Canada where we drive on the right side of the road, not the wrong side. I'm sure there are Aussies who aren't that bad, Hugh Jackman is pretty cool, although he can't do a Canadian accent. Still like ya Bruce!. Snikt!

It drives very sterile (digital like). Also the rear weight is noticable. I know the idea of this vehicle but I would not go for it over normal one. Also $ a bit heavy...
I traded my G20 320i for a g20 33e a few weeks ago, my brother has also a 330i g20 and the 330e is so much better. Way better acceleration off the line, the weight is a lot more but it doesn't alter the dynamics that much. To be honest having the hybrid drive train really transforms the way the car feels. Yes it is a little bit digital like but I guess all new BMW and other euro cars are similar these days.
@Mattejko It is a good car I agree. But too heavy and I do not like how the rear behaves. I would simply go for normal 330 or 340 if BMW is your preference ;-).

Try put it in sport mode - that works with the 330e👍

I’ve seen this video again an noticed it uses Bridgestone turanza tires, I have a Jaguar XE in Brazil and fitted him with the Bridgestone Potenza S001 tire, very good tire for this kind of car, wonder why bmw hadn’t put it the S001 on this car already. My car gets off the line amazingly well with those tires.

@@joshgutierrez7380 Not really. It only gets used for the Vbox then switched off - we’ve been using it now for about 8 years. It doesn’t have a SIM. Racelogic provides an offical app only for Apple devices and at the time we had Android phones. But now we think it’s actually better to have a stand alone phone just for testing in case our personal phones break or we lose them 😀
