Chancellor Rishi Sunak announced a new coronavirus job retention scheme that will cover wages up to £2,500 a month.

I've been to Sainsburys and Asda 4 times in 5 days as there was nothing on the shelves. Today I went to Asda as there was a notice there will be new stock of bog roll, eggs, hand wash, etc. i went at 10am and it was all gone, eggs and the lot, bare shelves, couldnt believe it thought going at 10 was a reasonable time. People are queuing outside the supermarkets at opening times. Its unbelievable cant seem to find anything from anywhere. Dont know how long this will go on, worrying times...

London has a massive homeless population and many of them tend to walk around at night and then sleep in the day as it's safer for them. It wouldn't be possible to impose a curfew in London, as the police wouldn't know the difference between homeless people and other Londoners. Many of the homeless people just look like tourists with roller bags nowadays.

Why aren't we following suit with the EU on this one, FREEZE UTILITIES, Council Tax T.V License Energy and Water, with people being off work we have lower pay and those on zero hours are still getting no reprieve apart from being advised to default on their rent.... so the idea is to get everyone into crippling debt?? homelessness is about to take a huge up in the UK as the Tories only seem interested in helping businesses and not the people.

Food is essential.Currently recruiting 3500 people for online food deliveries. it'll be the next phase. can't close em yet. online cant cope yet. But maybe if 10 day delivery becomes feasible for everyone, it'll be the only way to get shopping for many in cities/towns that may go into lockdown. Use ur noggin and stop pointing at the obvious,
i work in online food delivery, and it is ABSOLUTELY crazy atm. It is much much more busier than christmas

That's what going to happen by the looks of it because businesses have given a break on business rates and interest rates are at lowest they've been since the 1600s so it's only a matter of time they'll announce when the virus peaks in few weeks

Boris can only advise people the public have been ignoring most of the advice, still panic buying, up until recently still travelling to countries with more Corona than Britain, they have been told to avoid large gatherings yet pubs full in some areas and at least 300 in my local Tesco panic buying the other day. How many will still go to work with Corona if they think they might lose money?.
