    I own a First Edition Ioniq 6 in Galaxy gold, and I love it.
    The Ioniq 6 was introduced in Germany in November, and the first cars are hitting the road now.

    I bought an Ioniq 6 white Limited RWD, two weeks ago. I love it! It has everything I wanted. The range is rated 303 miles. When fully charged, it is 355 miles. I live in Florida and it is 90 + most days here in May. I usually put 21,000 to 23,000 miles per year on my car. No range anxiety here. I already have 1600 miles on my car. Have not charged anywhere except my home. Have a level 2 charger at home. Only charge fully once a week before my long trip. Rest of the week, I might charge a couple of hours once. No reviews yet mention that the background color on the screens can be changed from the white to black. The black is stunning. Also, the spoiler has solar that helps with accessories. This car is amazing and is smooth. Even on eco, the acceleration is soo fast!

      I received the first Transmission Blue Limited Ioniq 6 delivered in Utah May 1st. I believe EPA is rated at approx. 280 miles with the 20" wheels. Quality of build and ride comfort is excellent. It truly is a beautiful vehicle! I'm torn between it and my wife's ride a 2022 BMW X3 m40i! Both are amazing vehicles!!

      Hi, thanks for the comment, sorry for the delayed response. I'm at Bannister Hyundai in BC.
      Yes generally larger dealerships get more stock.... But we're talking 6 or 7 instead of 2 or 3. Stock on the ioniq 6 is EXTREMELY limited, more so then the ioniq 5

    • @fsxflyer789Productions
      @fsxflyer789Productions ปีที่แล้ว

      @Ed's Garage Based on my last conversation with Guelph Hyundai, they still have no clue about when their allocations are going to happen. When do you think dealers will start finding out about which cars they're getting? People getting deliveries in the US makes me jealous, lol

    • @edsgarage001
      @edsgarage001  ปีที่แล้ว

      We've known for about a month now what we're getting. They're probably just keeping the info they have secret for now.

      @@edsgarage001 Called them again, they keep saying they got no clue about allocations and they can't "order" the car which was weird to me as I thought these are just prebuilt and allocated randomly. I'm wondering if its different since you're in BC and they probably want to sell more there cuz of the mandates and rebates compared to Ontario which has neither

    • @edsgarage001
      @edsgarage001  ปีที่แล้ว

      No we can't order them either... We just get however many Hyundai allocates. But we were able to "somewhat" choose which ones we are getting.
      They're telling you that so that maybe you'll buy something different. Every dealership in Canada has received it's allocation list by now.

    I appreciate checking the head room as that's my only concern with this car. I have the Ioniq 5 and love it, but I don't really need the extra space that it gives and the extra range would be nice as I'd likely get the 18 inch RWD version assuming they are available at MSRP.

      Official Hyundai Canada training.
      The lower trim with the 18" wheels is 0.21 with the side view cameras and 0.22 with the side view mirrors.
      The higher trims with 20" wheels are 0.23 with side view cameras and 0.24 with side view mirrors.

    One thing about the regen. breaking. Pull the right paddle for 2 seconds then it will switch to auto modus. There are 3 levels of auto regen breaking as well and it works with the laser on front to regulate the distance from the cars in front of you and it breaks automatically if you let loose the speed pedal.
    So all in all you have 8 modes of breaking (including lvl0 for floating along)

    I love the presentation of the hyundai ioniq 6 it reminds me of the porsche taycan with a hyundai badge did hyundai copy the porsche taycan design does the sunroof on the ioniq 6 open and tilted and how come that I didn't see the htrac badge or AWD badge like tucson kona and so on and does the AWD is still from magna international plus if I see the ioniq 6 I thought it's going to be RWD plus it confused for the public is it possible that the hyundai will put the htrac or AWD badge on the ioniq 6

    • @edsgarage001
      @edsgarage001  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thx for the comment again....
      I'm sure there was copying going on... But when you design vehicles to be extremely aerodynamic, they're going to look similar.
      The sunroof does slide open and tilt yes.
      No htrac badge, because the dual motor system works quite different to htrac AWD. It's just as good, but it's different. I don't think magna did the AWD in the ioniq 5 or 6.
      I actually like that there's no AWD badge. It's a nice clean look on the back.
