Wow, im going to do this card tomorrow with the word Christmas and make it too the size of a slim line card and add a tag with Happy on. Thank You, you make all your tutorials seem ease as your so good at explaining each step. Im getting a big list of things i want to make. Cheers Nessa x
Love this video!!!! You are so much easier to follow than the one video I watched. I did have to start over a couple times but I got it!!!! Thank you and I love your accent!
Have only recently got involved with card making/crafting and on seeing you demonstrating the scan n cut on TV I immediately saw the potential of this equipment then I did a bit of research and when I found this tutorial my mind was made up, you made it so easy to follow and have sparked up my imagination thank you for sharing mate. You obviously have a lot of knowledge and experience. My scan n cut is ordered and whilst waiting for delivery I am playing with canvas on my day off. Thank you please keep up the good work. :D
Hi John Sorry 2 replies in the same day I just worked along with you doing this card and really enjoyed watching it come together it worked Brilliantly love it I am going to try it with one of my Grand kids names i think they will love it having a personal card made of their name thanks for the idea John Di x
so glad I found you I am learning so much - I always aligned things zooming in and by eye, how dumb am I?! how much easier things will be now I know how to use the align functions - many thanks x
Hi I have watched this a few times now and I have now realized how easy it looks so will be trying this Just a thought could you do the words HAPPY with BIRTHDAY under it thanks John Great Demo as usual Di x Happy New Year John
Thanks for the tutorial. Please canyou advise how to group more than one word together. E.g., Mr & Mrs. Also, how do you size it to fit on the page. Thanks. Thanks.
To group, select all of the objects and then select group. To resize, once grouped, drag the lower right corner handle of the group or type the dimensions in the properties box.
Hi John, great tutorial, very informative. I'm very new to scan n cut, got my first machine yesterday and your project is my first play with it. I came across one problem when I tried certain words like birthday and jolly, when I tried to do the 'off set line" it kept seperating the 'Y'. How do I fix this?
Great video, but there was no picture of the completed card, once put together. Is it possible to show me? Is there a “ledge” below the word to put a sentiment or is this written inside the card. Hope you can let me know. Thank you
No finished card shown as at 4.40 it is fairly clear what the finished design looks like. Now totally sure what you mean by a 'ledge' below the word to put a sentiment as the card is the sentiment. There is space inside the card to add a hand written message.

Thanks so much for sharing. It would be great to see a sample of your completed project after you show us how to do it.
This was more about the technique than any particular project Shari
