I was the kid Dave came up to, and I come watch this back every now and then. It really was an amazing moment, and I can't believe all the comments I see about me! I just don't want people to think I was some ungrateful little kid. I'm a huge Foo Fighters fan and I think that Dave wrote the song to describe the "times like these". If anyone watched the entire webcast, they were lucky enough to see that I got Dave's shoes at the end of the show.. I still have them on display in my home. I would definitely want to go back to this day. I just thought people would want to hear how I felt about my experience, don't mean to brag at all.
I feel like that's just the kind of dude dave is, he's got a massive heart and he does it for those reasons, just a moment of his time and he helped to make someone's life shine so bright in that moment and you'll always have that man, i couldn't possibly be more happy for you dude, and proud of the way Dave carries the weight of rock and roll with cool and graceful hand. You picked the right band to be such a big fan of bro.
Haha, awesomeness!! Before even seeing this comment I was thinking to myself "wonder if that kid even realized how cool of a moment that was". Good perspective dude!
Honestly, that moment with Dave, the kid, and the guitar, makes this performance one of the most epic performances of all time. It makes me smile and tear up with joy every time I watch this.
