Another fantastic meal with lovely bread, I bet it tasted great. The dogs enjoyed themselves on the walk making friends which is always nice to see! Love to the doggies! xxx
Hi Wizards! I’ve enjoyed this sweet video. I am going to try today’s recipe next weekend when my term holiday starts. Really enjoyed the view of the walk and seeing the furdos made my day. Have a good weekend!
Hi Sophia. Thanks for watching. Enjoy the recipe! There will be another one coming out next week. 👍 The little doggos say hi! 🐶🐶🐶 Hope you have a lovely weekend too! Take care 👍😊❤️
Enjoyed your slow cook stew Ellie especially as we're really hot on using up left overs. Hadn't thought of adding pesto to things as you do - great idea. Keep the recipes and cooking demos coming. Love Ray and Nicola xx
First owe you an apology we have a power bank cooking short going out next Wednesday that I created and uploaded a few weeks ago 😮 it’s only 45 secs so not as detailed as yours Liking this on trend topic guys and we love the hytrik although you can’t get our one anymore they only do the handle version
Hi both Anything that’s useful to van life is worth sharing with others as much as possible 😉. Shame they don’t do the same version as ours as it’s easy to tuck away in a drawer or cupboard. Pleased you’re enjoying the topic 😊Thanks for watching. Hope you’re both ok 😊👍
What an awesome off-grid cooking adventure! 🍲🏕 I love the idea of combining a nice walk with slow-cooked dinner - delicious and time-saving! That stew looks hearty and perfect after a day outdoors. I'm definitely getting an instant pot and trying this for myself! 😊
Thanks for watching. So pleased you enjoyed it. I love going for a walk and coming back to a cooked dinner😉. The little InstantPot is ideal. Slow cookers are also good for that. Do let us know how you get on 👍😊
This looks ace, Ellie. I might try it. Your single-handed filming was great, too. The sliced bread definitely finished the whole meal off - Graham must have been exhausted, lol 😂
Looked absolutely delicious Ellie. We have an air fryer but Sue wants an Instant Pot now 😃. Didn’t use much of the battery We drove through Devizes two weeks ago on the way down South. I remember driving down past the lock staircase. Safe travels you two. And looking forward to more recipes.
Sorry! The little Instant pot is great for stews and casseroles, and yes, frugal on energy too. The Lock staircase is great isn’t it? Nice tea shop there as well 😉 Thanks for watching and safe travels both 👍😊
Hi Ellie, good job on the soup making, always nice to be able to keep your vitamins topped up while in the van! The instant pot looks good. Hope you are both well? Best wishes, Em xxx
Hi Em, How are you doing? We are fine thanks ( and thanks for watching) it’s been a busy time lately. You know how it goes! We try to be healthy with our meals in the van but with varying degrees of success 🤣. Chocolate is our downfall 😉 Take care ❤️😊xx
Nothing wrong with a £15 crock pot. Bet the stew tastes very nice. I love dumplings but Graham isn’t so keen. I originally bought ours for pressure cooking beans and soups. So the slow cook function was a bonus for me. Thanks for watching 😊👍
Looks a delicious soup Ellie. Can you use the slow cooker (the sage green one we got like yours) to do this? Assume so but some things I appreciate may need different cooking methods? All the very best, David & Rachel 👍
I have cooked soup like this in the little pot with excellent results. The only thing is it cooks at a higher temperature more quickly, so, not a slow cooker as such. I wouldn’t leave it unattended as it needs more stirring/ monitoring. Results in both taste just as nice. Thanks for watching. 😊👍
I know Michael! He’s really improving isn’t he? 🤣🤣. Bread slicing and making cups of tea. There is no limit to this man’s talent! Hope you’re doing ok and thanks so much for watching. 😊👍
Another great video. The soup looks delicious. My husband is toying with the idea of an external BQ point but we have been quote almost £300.I prefer to cook on electric and do most of the cooking . When camping off grid , how long roughly would the power bank last when used solely for cooking ? And when in warm weather do to you cook outside on electric? Thanks in advance
Hi Erica. Thanks for watching. This is a bit of a guess but depending on what you are cooking I think you could get three meals out of a power bank like ours using a low wattage device. I’ve not tried it myself so can’t be too accurate. We do cook outside in the summer months using electric. We have a small George Foreman grill (760 Watts). It takes 2 burgers and is just right for us. Sometimes I grill veggies like peppers on it too. Might be worth a look. Hope that helps 👍😊

Hi Rachael. It was quite tasty, and nice to come back to after a chilly walk. The doggies enjoyed their walk as well. 🐶🐶🐶. Thanks for watching 😊👍
Well done Elle, cooking one handed, filming at the same time.
It looked again very nice.
Well down Graham, that bread was sliced very well 🤣
Cheers 👍🐸
Hi ,
Ooh yes. He did a superb slicing job with that bread 😉
thanks for watching. Take care 😊👍

That looked yummy. I’m glad Graham is doing his bit too. Take care Gill
Oh yes. It all hinged on the slicing of bread, ( or so Graham would have you believe 🤣) Hope you are doing ok. Take care 👍😊
Looked great Ellie, I would never have thought of putting beans in, hadn't realised Graham was a master baker🍞😂 Cheers K.
Glad you acknowledge the fact Karlos. Ellie calls me a master baker, I think that’s what she said. 😩🙏
@@Wizardinthewild Sounds like our neighbours cat, cooking fat😂😂

Thanks Darren 👍
The beautifully sliced bread was definitely the star of the show😉.
Graham needed a nap afterwards!
Take care 👍😊

So great, keep them coming Ellie! I’m gonna try the slow cooker stew tomorrow! ♥️🐚
Ooh that sounds exciting. Hope the slow cooker stew works out well for you tomorrow. Let me know how it goes! Thanks for watching ❤️👍😊
Soup looks lovely x
Your sort of soup! 😉always nice when you can prep it and come home to a cooked meal 😊👍
So expensive those instant pots.
I will make do with my £15 crock pot😂
Cant beat a goid old beaf stew and dumplings😋

Creative use of pesto! Often end up throwing away the last bit for some reason. I wonder what else it works with xx
It’s nice stirred into cooked green vegetables. That’s always a good way to use the last bit. Also stirred into tomato soup 😉
Nice ideas!
