Great Video mate! I have subbed. I bought the cx5 Akeera turbo in crystal soul red in September, it’s a lovely vehicle very quiet and a nice interior. It’s not very fuel efficient, I’m getting 12.2 litres per 100ks and I’m not lead footed. I’ve done approximately 900ks, I’ll keep an eye on it over the next few months.
Glad you love your CX-5, I've found in my experience with Mazda it takes 1/2 thousand K's on driving in order to get the true fuel economy numbers. I've had company cars in the Turbo when I've gotten into the 8.0L/100's with everyday driving to and from work. just takes a little bit of time :)

at our dealership you've been able to order a 2023 plate and build CX-5 for a few months now. since before Christmas last year!
some people like to wait for the 2023 built models so they place an order and are happy to wait usually.
Got a 2022 Mazda CX-30 now, might upgrade to the CX-5 in a few years.
would be a fantastic choice if you're looking to size up to a bigger car but not too much bigger!!!!

Thanks - the only different from the GT SP and the Akera in the video is the reverse camera setup and different material leather for the seats, that’s the only noticeable features

Last week I placed an order for MAZDA CX-5 2023, but it's not in stock, so I have to wait for it to come next month.
that's amazing, congratulations. its better to wait a month for the colour you want rather than take a colour you don't want sooner! considering the car market, one month is not very long at all to wait :D
I purchased CX5 top range last November but doesn’t come with wireless CarPlay. Will it be available for my car via upgrade?
Hi, you'll have to ask your local Mazda service centre about that. the new 2023 models have a slightly different screen as compared to the 2022 models as you can see from the video! hopefully your service centre can shine some light on this question. otherwise there is plenty of aftermarket dongles that enable wireless apple car play out there.

I’ve got a Nov 22 build CX5 Akera Diesel but can’t get Sports mode, would this be enabled later on?
My CX5 has 627 km’s on the clock
Diesel models don't have a sports mode, only off-road and normal mode. sports mode is exclusive to the petrol and turbo petrol models

9:59 I have a 2023 premium plus (USA) and i can't sort out how to get the Android Car Play to function wirelessly. Connecting via Bluetooth offers some limited features, Android Car Play only pops up when connected via USB. Any input or recommendations?
Hi, unsure regarding the USA versions, AUS models connect wirelessly when you connect bluetooth...
maybe look through the communication settings and see if the option is turned on? otherwise, try a local mazda service centre for help!

@@GingyKM could you explain the auto hold function again? I like to apply the park brake at the traffic lights sometimes should I use the autohold button for this or the Park brake? And or istop?
Absolutely, the auto hold button can be activated when stationary or driving as long as the driver has their seatbelt on, auto holds holds the brakes for you so you don’t need your foot on the brake pedal, accelerating will release the brake automatically then you’re away! Auto hold will reactivate when you come to the next stop

on the mazda satnav you just rotate the dial to zoom in and out, on google maps i believe you need to select something on screen to be able to zoom in and out

why does sometimes the Akera when closing drivers door car beeps 3 times?
Could be for a number of reasons.
if you close the door and press the button on the door handle before the door fully closes the car with let of some rapid beeps.
if you close the door and have auto walk away lock turned on, it'll beep once when the door closes then beep again when you walk far enough away.
otherwise, when you press the button on the handle when the doors are closed it'll just beep once
How do you turn radio/audio OFF without losing the Mazda Connect screen?
Entertainment -> Menu -> Source list -> Off (At the bottom below bluetooth & USB)

The problem continues when radio/audio comes on again.
Where in the voluminous Owner’s Manual does “Turning the radio OFF” without losing the Mazda Connect (or something to that effect)appear?

I think that is just the automatic gearbox? either that or it is the Mazda Radar Cruise Control

No digital G cluster? are we in 2023 or 2013 Mazda?
mazda's brand new vehicles are including full digital clusters, see the CX60 and CX90 for reference

This looks like it is behind in specs to the Mazda3 3. These steering wheel looks the same as my 2018 Mazda 3. Also the button on the door to unlock is old now aswell
why fix what's not broken? all of Mazda's brand new vehicles coming out (CX-60 & CX-90) have adopted Mazda's new styling. CX-5 hasnt because it is still vary popular the way it is
@Kyle McDowell Yeah they adopted it because its better. You could say why fix what's not broken on cars going back 20+ years. It is called progression.

My 2022 CX5 does not have wireless CarPlay 👎 . Can Mazda upgrade my car? I should not have to ask for this in 2022. Wireless should be standard.
That's above my paygrade, this video is for 2023 CX5's features and functions so you're probably watching the wrong video... some 22 models did have it but they were early facelift models built in 22 that have wireless carplay. :)

No wireless Apple CarPlay so this is very disappointing. Why have a wireless charging pad if you have to plug in anyways? Having cords dangling in 2022 and 2023 is unexceptable. Yet one can buy a wireless adapter to make it wireless for not a large amount of money so why doesn’t Mazds just add it? Also if you use the remote starter using the my Mazda app, the car shuts off when you open the door. Does not factor in the cars FOB??
hey todd, as you can see from watching this video... the new gen cx5 does indeed have wireless apple carplay, at 8:30 i show the wireless carplay getting connected :)
unsure about what spec of cx5 you have in wherever you are in the world but I assume youll get the model with wireless carplay soon if you dont already :)
