Idk why.. (thinking maybe it's because, in all honesty, I could never solder or wire anything, to save my own life!?!) but, I just love watching these type of videos! =) Have been a long time, HUGE fan of Mamu, also! (prob. nearing 3 yrs now) & while I always tried to keep up & follow/read all of her posts & instructional info... her sales, etc. on ECF & such... not being a member there, I could only drool over the far & few between last min sales that popped up.. only to be sold out in, literally, a nano-second! So, admiring from afar & for so long... was absolutely thrilled to find out she had left & was starting her OWN website! Well, yeehahhh... would I possibly be able to purchase such a unicorn device now? Hmmm... maybe? Possibly.... hopefully? .. Awwww, hells bells... sigh! =o --> imagine that was the look on my face as I read on her site, a message saying something like, ... "am now retired from making mods to sell...." Sheeeeeit! What I liked most, was the clean & unique looks of... her total attention to detail.... overall size!... and.... that (unlike most) she was mostly using the LiPo built-in batteries... I actually prefer. Love the whole wood look, in general... so really like your 1st one! Even if it ended up smaller/18350 sized, it's hand built all the way.... which, imho, makes it better than most others. Love the size of that small "stumpy" (lol) black mod ya have there, too... with the display surround. :) Now, that last one.... phew... so "Milo" -ish! =D (always liked her Minxy/Delsy styles too!) Agree with you about the black screws on the front of that one, but EVERYTHING about it... is just super clean & awesome (nicely done, btw!) For me at least, those teeny tiny tactile buttons, tend to cut right into my fingers. All that being said, should there ever come a time you decide to make some extras that you need to sell.. ;) please please.. feel free to send me a PM. I'd be very interested in scooping one up.. (ok, maybe even more than one kind/style/chip! LOL) If I could've built one myself by now (or 10.. teehee) I woulda, for sure. Unfortunately tho, for some reason that whole "wiring" thing, in general.... just scares the livin' $hit outta me. Anyhoooo... super clean work there, all around.. very well done! Great DIY video enjoyed it gona try replacing my old 510 on same exact hana30 had stripped it wit one of mmy rebuildables I will watch ur DIY video on doin that any tips would be appreciated .
I'm getting ready to wire a led switch in my 100watt regulated iconic mod it says I'll need a resistor but yours seemed fine without it ...any help would be great!
