I'm 68 and I listen to this band. Much of what they do reminds me particularly of the music I listened to from late 65 to 67. Oh, and Matthew, if you want a good example of a 60's recording that if I already didn't know it, I might think was the Allah-Las, is "Are You Gonna Be There (At The Love-In)" by The Chocolate Watch Band from 1967. That's not a bad thing. I actually like a band where the guitars can be heard without all the distortion, and when you do use it, it is sparingly as an effect rather than burying the tune, that gorgeous chiming sound. th-cam.com/video/93onAThIS30/w-d-xo.html
