How do you like their t2 brushed motor (for trigger response in semi)? curious if it is worth picking up if I can't afford a brushless motor. would love to see a video comparing their brushed motor to their brushless so we can hear difference in sound, trigger response, efficiency, etc. thanks!

Nice video! 😊. It really is a promising motor, now ONLY last thing that Will have to be put to test is how much it Will last, i might try to use one in a LMG build, So se can see, how to does over the time 😊.

Yeah Absolutely, this is unconfirmed for the moment. I guess sooner we will find out how durable it is.

Thanks for actual measurements and testing if the ESCs were compatible!
Any issues with the T238 Brushless or ESC?
Know the max spring/ Amp it can handle?
(My WH 36K pulls a Prometheus MS210 on 26:1 helical SSG in a Barra 4.5mm Electric Airgun, which is airsoft compatible.
Two WH 52K ESCs died trying. maybe the 36K survives due to lower peak amp draw.
I'm after Max Torque/response time, any recommendations appreciated)

Vídeo incrível. Excelente. Exatamente o tipo de análise que eu estava procurando. Porém gostaria de saber se esse motor T238 funciona normalmente com Aster e Titan da Gate?

Thank you i appreciate your comment! The motor have been tested on different places around Europe bu the Admins of the T238 Mosfet Q&A group. We had tested it in some builds but we wasn't able to confirm its working on every brand of ETU/DTU so here is the list of what we had tested:
      1. T238 v1.7 worked well( but the general behavior will depends on the chosen setup, so if it has less stress motor speed adjustment need to be done)
      2. Gate Titan - worked well without an issue accepting AB and precook quite well on two buids- 20:1/M165/DSG and M115 18:1 SSG
      3. Chilun v2 , cycledwell with AB-ON and not so well without it
      4. G&G ETU normal M110, 18:1 SSG working as it should
      5. French TH-camr Ding had been checking it with Perun Hybrid and Aster and he wasn't able to run it well, but he confirmed also that its working on his T238 . I guess he will need to play more with the settings of Hybrid and Aster in order to make it cycle properly.
This is all we had tested, this doesn't necessarily mean that it is a 100% drop in and run, controlling a Brushless in extensive type of setups is very different every time so when this particular motor has an overspin it can be controlled by adding increments of precook when that's not working because of the low stress of some builds you have the option to low down the RPM to a point where it doesn't overspin and you gain a full control over the cycle and settings of your ETU/DTU.

Thanks for the review! Could you please tell me according to my current configuration, if I only want to optimize the semi cycle rate/trigger response (I don’t use full auto at all) and reduce energy consumption, which one is the better choice, the 33000rpm T238 or the Base 27k Warhead?
    Gears: “Normal” 18:1 no stroke
    Spring: M140 (about 2.5 joules)
    Battery: 11.1V 1000mAh/50C
Mosfet: Perun AB (external Mosfet. Normally I don’t use AB during games. And only turn on the AB after playing, fire one single shot to release the spring, and then turn off the AB again)
    Thanks!

Hi, thanks for the comment! Ahh well there is no simple answer, but the motor with the better trigger response is the T238. Right now you can't opt for the silver one it doesn't exist anymore there is a new silver gold one which i didn't test, so don't know what to expect there. Some Tech's are reporting minor changes on the internals on the silver gold to first released silver motor, but again i can't really say if it's the same ot better or worst quality than the first released.

Hi thanks for the quick reply! So I think I would give the T238 a try… Indeed I have noticed that we can only purchase the new gold silver one now. But like everything in airsoft it’s try and error at the end 😂

Decent quality motors, i use them a lot in SSGs and DSGs. Not the highest torque motor, but for springs below M135 in SSG and M155 in DSG, it is efficient, just like they stated.

    • @AC-AirsoftCustoms

The motor itself is powerful enough to break some gearsets. Keep in mind that the minimum requirement is to have the least basic mosfet in the gun. The more consistency in voltage and current input, the better. Classic Contact group is to be avoided.

    • @AC-AirsoftCustoms
      @AC-AirsoftCustoms  2 ปีที่แล้ว

Yes you can. You can update the firmware to 4.0 but you can use it even without the new firmware.

    • @AC-AirsoftCustoms

@FaraWitana-i7v try what best suits the operation of the gun. With or without, it isn't a problem for the motor but mostly for the proper cycling. Feel free to play with the settings until you are satisfied with the behavior, and always use a fully charged battery while setting the parameters and try to avoid changing if with other speck batteries while playing.

Reaper airsoft has just completed a real review with actual data not this bullshit . Just as I expected it’s crap , in almost all metrics it’s no better or worse than a brushed motor but double the price . Cheap shit at a premium price don’t waste you money .

    • @AC-AirsoftCustoms

Wow 😳 Reaper Airsoft made a review... you wrote it so confident that i almost felt like Elon Musk made it instead. 👍 Anybody who has such consumption on a standard setup as the one in his chart, has to consider learning more or work better on the guns tuning before he post such info, his shimming is tight and general internal friction is quite high so keep watching him, perhaps he will get better 🤔
