@@waynewav Thanks, you finally did a help video on that Apollo Twin. I really needed that.
My only gripe is when I recorded a guitar from the front input into the DAW (Fl Studio) it was recorded as a very low mono signal. I still can't figure out why?
I have my settings similar to one of your older videos. Probably one of your studio session videos.

I've been using the setting of "interface + condenser mic + phantom power" to record my own vocals since I was 15 so I should've been very comfortable with this whole process, but I just ordered an Apollo Twin last night and all of these discussions in the forums and comment sections complaining about how much of a pain in the ash it is got me really confused and intimidated. So glad that I've found this video!!! You did such a great job demonstrating each and every part of the hardware and I'm so relieved, thank you! Well from my pov this particular model not only isn't as painful as all those people complained about, but far more intuitive than most of the portable interfaces I've used before. Talking about "to each of their own" LOL! Now I'm really excited to receive my APL box and to play with it!! Again, really appreciate it man!

I just opened up my studio for booking at my current office space where I usually just make beats. I've experienced latency with my scarlett 2i2 3rd gen and some static/vnyl noise coming out on vocals. I am still on a budget as I am currently spending $ on bills and other products. Im not really focusing on sessions with bands where I need so many input connections. The Mic I'm currently using is a Warm wa87. Is there a Audio Interface you recommend to use for now to upgrade from my Scarlett 2i2 3rd gen if the Apollo Twin is out the picture?
