What Happens After Your FAFSA® Form Is Processed?

- After you’ve submitted your online Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA®) form, it will be processed in one to three days.
Next, you’ll receive an email with instructions to access your FAFSA Submission Summary. It will include four tabs: Eligibility Overview, FAFSA Form Answers, School Information, and Next Steps. Make sure you review all of the information on your FAFSA Submission Summary carefully.
The 2024-25 FAFSA form is available for students attending college between July 1, 2024, and June 30, 2025. When you submit your completed FAFSA form, you’ll get an email confirming that we received your form with preliminary information related to your eligibility for federal student aid. We’ll provide your FAFSA eligibility information to your school(s) and state in the first half of March. More information: StudentAid.gov/announcements-...

I’m glad everyone else is commenting! I mailed mine months ago and haven’t heard anything yet! I was tired of waiting for the website to get all the kinks worked out so I filled it out and mailed it
Nothing. Nothing happens, because this year is ridiculous BS. If they couldn't get it done in a timely manner, they should have waited. Now all of us are forced to do everything last minute. And the poor universities that have to deal on their end as well.

Submitted jan 15 processed March 27, nothing showing anywhere, no summary. Now it’s may 3rd and we have no clue about any aid.

Dashboard shows the application was processed as of yesterday, but no email yet for the all-important FAFSA Submission Summary. The 1-3 day expectation period seems optimistic.

My appl8cation was processed,but the school wants us to set up a payment plan. Im confused!!

We’ll share your FAFSA information with your selected schools starting in the first half of March, and you’ll begin receiving personalized aid information from the schools you’ve been accepted to several weeks later." - Direct quote from the website...here it is, END of March and we still aren't seeing any movement. What do you suggest we tell our schools? You know...the ones with deadlines for this information? We just supposed to come up with the money? Or did we forget the entire reason for the FAFSA is because most people can't afford to pay entire tuitions in one lump sum? This has been a fiasco. Unacceptable timelines, lack of communication, and inability to meet deadlines is literally costing us. Do better.

Mine was processed yesterday. They came out and said it was going to be later than first half of March. They actually changed it to beginning of April i seen. But mine was processed yesterday so I would keep checking
One of the schools I put down said I got approved but couldn't tell me until I enrolled. Well when I got a sight to find out it came up not found. So not sure what to do. I'd there a number for FAFSA or state number?
When can summaries be expected to be received. Currently.
we did ours and our child's in MARCH and keep getting emails that we have to submit it, but when we log in it states processed

My son is in the same situation, and like you . We can’t make corrections or see them. Also “action required “ but we don’t know what Is wrong and what are the corrections we need to correct. Did you figure it out ? I’m frustrated
Why doesn’t it show if there are any errors? It’s so fishy and confusing what I’m getting it wrong.

YESSS, I cant get my mom on it, I checked that the name was right, and everything else, yet no sign of her being able to access it, so stupid

I submitted my FAFSA. Since march 25 and bn they don’t send me any email

All materials submitted without issue on January 2, 2024, and confirmation was received on that day that all materials were received. It is now January 29, 2024, and still shows "In Review." How much longer to process what has been in review for 27 days?
We've been "In Review" for over 30 days as well. 👎
I apparently look I up on the website and it said processing won't start until sometime early March, which is bs if you ask me

@@LovelyyyyyyDove The application was submitted in early January. FAFSA took a lot of time to process it this year. Last year it was pretty quick(probably a couple weeks if I remember correctly).
