Complete the Personal Circumstances and Demographics Sections of the FAFSA® Form

After beginning your 2024-25 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA®) form, you’ll complete the “Student Personal Circumstances” section and the “Student Demographics” section.  
Know what questions to expect for each section to help you complete your FAFSA form. Your answers will help determine your dependency status and who will be identified as a contributor on your form.  
The 2024-25 FAFSA form is available for students attending college between July 1, 2024, and June 30, 2025. When you submit your completed FAFSA form, you’ll get an email confirming that we received your form with preliminary information related to your eligibility for federal student aid.
