But what you said about performers seeming to change their personalities when they begin to sing… there may be some truth to that, in a way. From my own experience as a vocalist, there’s always some level of apprehension when you’re going to perform, because it’s a powerful act. But once it’s time to sing your first line, you just go into performance mode, and everything else kind of falls away, as you give yourself to the song.

Glad this reaction popped up when searching for who’s seen her sing. But what you said about performers seeming to change their personalities when they begin to sing… there may be some truth to that, in a way. From my own experience as a vocalist, there’s always some level of apprehension when you’re going to perform, because it’s a powerful act. But once it’s time to sing your first line, you just go into performance mode, and everything else kind of falls away, as you give yourself to the song.
