Loren Allred's original was suitable for the movie but Morissette's version is beyond the movie. This version is brilliant that it can stand its own even if it wasn't in a movie. I believe the composer must be mesmerized by this cover, something like Dolly Parton's reaction to when she first heard Whitney Houston sang her I Will Always Love You.
