I was tinkering around with developing an AI algorithm that could look at chest radiographs and make a determination of whether a patient was suspected of having pneumonia. This is just one of a MILLION amazing things that are on the horizon. This things you talked about is quite interesting. I never would have imagined that something like this would be possible, but here we are!

I feel like radiology lends itself well to tech developments with AI and machine learning because a lot of it boils down to image analysis, which computers are doing better and better. I’m sure your idea will be a reality in the next few decades, if not as a primary diagnostic tool, then as an adjunct to current clinic workup.
@@DrAdnan Totally agree. I for one, am excited at the advancements that are possible with AI. It is certainly going to change the landscape and even change the face of medicine (as well as many areas of our lives) but I truly believe it will be for the better. Exciting times!

Have you tried talking to her about your expectations and finding ways to meet your needs more (also her needs and expectations, especially if they aren’t being met)? If my partner was breaking up with me because I was too busy, I’d first like if they talked to me, we had a mutual agreement on each other’s expectations, and we had tried to make changes to satisfy both individuals. If crucial expectations were still unmet and unlikely to change in a reasonable timeframe, then a breakup would still be sad, but more expected, understandable, and overall less devastating.
