This guy helped me pick FM. It’s a great field and I can definitely attest to “there are headaches in all fields,” so choose what you can see yourself doing. Hope all is well Dr. Chima
Dr. C is doing very well in private practice too, so it’s great hearing insights from someone that’s been successful in that setting. Thanks for watching!
Thank you so much! In the future, if you could please ask physicians about insurance/reimbursement issues, I'd greatly appreciate it. Not necessarily how much it is, but is it ever a huge headache or something that bothers you enough to have a bad day/burn out? Thanks!
I haven't started the interview yet, but just looking at the thumbnail...when someone sits like that, with their fingers interlocked like Dr. Cheema....you know he knows what he's talking about.
Haha, he definitely does. Not only is he renown among med students and patients, but he’s also built a very successful career with outputs comparable to some of the highly competitive medical and surgical specialties out there
@@DrAdnan yeah bro, and when he was talking about all the other things he does, I was like 😮 wow he's super involved and busy. Thanks for another nice interview 🤙🏿.
No problem, thanks for watching! You could talk to a career advisor but I think the best thing would be to shadow docs from different specialties. The next best thing is to ask a senior med student or a resident doctor
Residency starts in about a month so I’ll have to update you then! No problem, thank you for watching! I think they’re both great specialties, but FM is better for breadth and PMR is better if you mostly like Neuro/msk
Hi, please could I ask if you could interview a cardiac physiologist? I was looking at medicine but cardiology seems too intense/competitive for me so now I’m considering cardiac physiology and it would be great insight! Thank you!
Salam bro, I'm a medical student from the UK hopefully soon to graduate and was wondering if I could chat to you about family medicine over in the USA. Im not sure how else to get in touch?
Any doctor who does sports medicine gets the opportunity to meet famous athletes 🤩 Adnan you should do a video on sports nutrition too 😏 Once again.. Awesome video 👍 (hope you're well)
That’s true, it opens up doors to work with the pros. I’ve been wanting to make sports nutrition videos- soon! Thank you for watching and for your support 🙏. I hope you’re well too!
