      Hello, a few thinks to consider: firstly with pleco's you want to make sure you get a smaller species like bristle nose pleco's because common pleco's can grow over a foot and will be too large for a 37 gallon. Yellow labs are cool, but they won't get a long well with the other fish you want. They also need higher ph levels than the other fish, so perhaps you can scratch out the yellow lab and maybe substitute with a yellow convict cichlid or a rainbow cichlid (so that you still get the yellow color). Red tail sharks can be very territorial so they may not do good with those tank mates, and lastly with filtration its always a good idea to double or triple you gallon per hour rotation...so in a 37 gallon tank you'd do best with a filter the runs 100-150 gallons per hour

    When did you convert to frozen food? And what was your process?

    • @dwsdarius
      @dwsdarius  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Once mine was about 6 inches are started to train mine to eat raw. The trick is to try to make the food like like its alive, I tossed pieces of shrimp in front of my filter ouput and circulation pumps (where ever you have good water flow) and the current carries the shrimp making it look a live. It took a few tries but eventually he was hooked

    Does it interect with you?

    • @dwsdarius
      @dwsdarius  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Now it does, but at the time of this video is was pretty shy. With these fish the best interactions come when you keep them alone as the only fish in the tank, when you keep them with multiple fish it takes longer for them to trust you because the entire tank has to trust you as a whole

      He will be soon, he's 15" today the Azul is still 16". He eats like a pig and is a lot more aggressive so I think in a month he'll be higher ranking and probably equal or larger in size

    • @dwsdarius
      @dwsdarius  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Time and hierarchy are what effect the amount of color a peacock bass show. Once a peacock bass reaches 13-14 inches or when ever they obtain dominance (could be even when they are small like 8 inches) they will color up
