@@dwsdarius Just depends where you are. My neighbour has a huge pond at the front of his house. We get tonnes of frogs but no snakes so far. It looks like you might get much more.
Mine didn't make the winter. I know other people that kept them successfully in NJ but they had much bigger ponds. I imagine that they need to go deeper than 4ft to escape the cold

I didn't think about how snakes could be attracted to a pond. Pretty important in Australia.
Yes you guys have a lot of dangerous snakes over there too, if I were over there I would have to do a green house pond or something indoors
