You did a fabulous job with the editing. I always say to my bestie when she’s ooo-ing & ahh-ing over these rich person “seamless, minimalist, luxury” kitchens… I’ll say to her , “you do realize nobody’s using them, right?” Those kitchens are for show and tell. IF they have a private chef come in, they’re using the 2nd kitchen in the back where nobody sees them. But half the time, the rich and famous are still heating up pizza bites in the microwave 😂
I’ll never forget an episode of Real Housewives where she was showing off her $400,000 Kitchen remodel and they asked her what’s her favorite thing to cook on her new Wolf stove…. She said “Mac and cheese” 😅😅😅🙄🙄🤨🤨🤨 yeah……. Putting that high end stove to work, girl 😂😂😂😂
I did like the simple touches you pointed out that we could incorporate into our kitchen designs that wouldn’t cost a lot of money like the copper trim on the hood, great hardware selection or making the space our own by incorporating something we love like the actress with plants. There was a lot of great take always in this video. I really enjoyed it.
I haven't watched many of these celeb homes but I do remember Emma Roberts' home (but not her kitchen). I liked her home because it showed her personality & tastes. Her style was more of grandma cottage core & Boho, which wasn't liked by many in the comments - I checked, lol). However, I liked it because it was HER choice - she got the house designed for her, not for some other person or to satisfy the ID or the public. I also liked Dakota Johnson's kitchen because it was green in color (and in the shade that I liked), and she chose that color. So many kitchens are generic white, beige or grey, so when someone chooses a different color, it's memorable to me. I also liked Dakota's office/ study. The way that she toured it indicated that she really used the room. Btw, Gwyneth's bathroom is bigger than my whole apartment! 😂 😂 😂 I liked that kitchen tour of the lady with plants (showed her hobby) and the lady with kids. Cheers!
Remember that celebrities are owned. I hope I didn’t offend anyone, some of these homes we see are not owned by the celebrity, either. And when their career goes south, they must move out, because their homes are for the most part unaffordable. Only useful celebrities who are retained (very few) are kept in their unaffordable mansions. Many people can support just one celebrity. Their wealth is often not their own unless it is old money. They sell their extravagant impractical ideas to make more money for themselves, they don’t care about making our lives more ‘beautiful’ that is their hook, to make themselves more ‘saleable.’ These kitchens lack practically to make themselves look better, in order to keep their jobs. The unfortunate thing is it can put the regular person into debt adding stupid ideas like ‘pot fillers.’
Simply loving this video. I want to close my kitchen because I cook with fish sauce and don't want the smell of the fish spreading all over my small apartment. What do you think about semi-open kitchen. Can you give a few insights please?
Thanks for this Liz great to see what is out there, I have watched another of your kitchen videos and so helpful ,I have a lovely kitchen area with huge light coming in from windows however thinking about what you are saying the light is in the wrong angle as the milk gets hot in summer due to to much light 1st world problem lol so thinking of rearranging the bench tops and stove area , also question thanks and please my stud height is huge 11 foot and have the kitchen pantry, shelves etc only go up 3/4 height , would taking the cabinets to top of ceiling and I could never reach them or is it a faux cabinet to jsut cover this excess height? thanks

I did a video about just that! th-cam.com/video/_SRjId_TJmk/w-d-xo.html
Tells me money cant buy taste.
There's NO reason to not cook for yourself.
There, I said it.
Some of these kitchens are gorgeous, but a lot of them are just more money than sense, as Grandma would say.
So fun to check out though!🙏
Totally,@@lizbiancoismydesignsherpa 😀 i just think it's really unfair that none of them have invited me to live in their kitchens 🤪
The lemons are a joke because stylists come in and put them there before the tours, because they look nice.
And the feng shui benefits!

In the pantry? I’d stop them and use that top shelf for not often accessed stuff.🙏
@@lizbiancoismydesignsherpa it is way to high even for that stuff, need a ladder to access.Even an earthquake risk here unsecured stuff
