Last week I landed my first 4 figure site for a client. I still think it's crazy that 99% of people don't know what webflow is. Thank you so much for sharing your journey and tips Payton!
Just did $19,500 last month in profit. Trying to figure out how to double down now and build proper systems so I’m now drowning in work. Just came across your channel, looking forward to binging your videos 🎉
Amazing ideas and goals. Thanks for sharing. So quick question, talking about the Digital real estate......can you tell us some profitable niches we can delve into. So we can build sites in that niche
Hi Payton. Thanks for the very insightful and helpful video. You talked about building websites that have traffic and authority and mentioned that some people are willing to pay a lot for these types of websites. How would you suggest I go about finding the best niches for this?
Such a great video! Even though I have heard about your site building online real estate idea, you explained it so well that even a mom can understand😉💙
Great stuff. I've been a WP dev for almost 10 years now but constantly annoyed by bugs, outdated plugins, etc. Seems like Webflow is a valid alternative for sure!
Payton, that was an awesome video even better I liked how you plan ahead (most people do not do that, they just swing it). I have a question, when do you think a person is ready to find his first paying client? I have built five websites so far and I am still learning a TON. I guess I am also afraid to reach out to potential clients. What would you do? Thanks, greetings Lukas
Hey I love your content and I watched a lot of your videos please make more of them :) I have a quick question, if you build a website for the same type of business (I had 2 physiotherapist client) and they both want SEO. What do you do about it ? I mean I will do almost the same work for both of them. Maybe one will have some blog posts and the other not but I feel weird doing this. How do you manage and what would you do if they want the same service ? Thank you !
Hey man, I really enjoyed watching your videos. I wonder tho, do you register your agency as a business/llc? Do you get taxed from the profits that your agency make? I’m going to start my own digital agency soon. The taxes is one area I’m not familiar with. Hope you can provide some insights.
This might be a dumb question but how long on average does a web design usually project take? I know every project has different timelines but I would love to hear some average timeframes.
if you don't mind a question: how much are your current margins? ie: how much are you making from your company? I mean, it seems you have a ton of employees and such, maybe is a better idea for you to cut out expenses and increase the website prices, at least all the web devs millionaires I know do not really have a company (They operate mainly with freelancers, maybe 1 or 2 employees) What are your thoughts on that?
agencies are not really profitable businesses. he's not generating more than $50k/employee. A lot of those employees are part time, if I had to guess his internal rate of return is ~200k. That's decent, and his employees are a long term investment, but he's not making a ton of money in the short term. it's a reasonable strategy to generate some cash from an agency early in your career and invest that back into a business that can scale. That's a common pattern. same thing as software engineers who make a similar amount of money for a period of time before investing it in something. he was talking about that in the latter half of the video, if he can leverage his agency to building a traditional web business he could become far more profitable. There are newsletters that have sold for $20m+ dollars like the hustle.
Hey man love your content. Would love to work with you. Got any less than desirable clients you want to pass along? I'll cut you in for your rejections.
This is so awesome!! Way to go!
Thanks Tim, excited for our collab here soon!

I'd need help with that, can you help me?
@@valentin3976 What specifically?
I can build pretty good non hyper scalable full stack websites but I have no clue what webflow is. I should look into it.
Straight into the story w no intro - every creator should be doing this. Flows so nice.
Awesome video

how's the system building going? interesting seeing how this small community is coming together on payton's videos
You need to update us! Hope all is going great.
As a Programmer it amazes me how much you can even charge for a webflow website, that's amazing
That last idea is genius. Follow your gut and go crush that. Keep us posted on how it goes!!
I gotta watch this, saving this for later
Bruv you are an amazing inspiration and I love the content you are putting out keep up the good work.
Can we see your 75k website pls, nice video btw, you're inspiring, thank you
Love the honesty man thanx a lot.
Fantastic video man! Love your content!
Thanks Taylor
Big plans Payton. Please do more videos about building these niche websites and what goes into them and such.
Great. I don't know much but to get to the millions I want to do something to proudly stand by. It may be multiple businesses.
Started doing that actually as well with focus on being acquired so I think it's a good plan.
So glad I found you - I am not the designer but now contracted selling for two digital agencies.
I really like your transparency man
Hey man, love the videos!
Who did you go through to get your hat made with your logo on it? Melin hat, right?
Amazing as always! I really like the idea of creating websites yourself and generating revenue from that.
So as a free lance designer, do you also do web development or just design? Even when you first started by yourself before the business.
Amazing ideas and goals. Thanks for sharing. So quick question, talking about the Digital real estate......can you tell us some profitable niches we can delve into. So we can build sites in that niche
How do you find or decide which niche site is worth the time to build out?
Keyword research and finding something that has high volume, low competition and is a profitable and easy to understand business with high margins!
@Wee Moment with tools like SEMrush you can search by country!

I agree. Been doing this work since 1991. WordPress sucks, Joomla does too and don't get me started on Drupal. I miss Flash though.

A few weeks - 2 months, if you’re building bigger than 5 pages probably 2 - 6
3-4 hours
